2nd Floor Common Room - Evening

Parker really didn't get much done today. She's watching the DVD of Midsummer Night's Dream -- the one with Kevin Kline and Callista Flockhart -- and making mental notes of what *not* to do as Queen of the Fairies.

She's also hoping to run into some people, so she can get some answers about what's been happening while she was in England.

Xander looks up from his Marty-provided dinner and waves at her with his ink-besmirched arm. "Hey, I've got something for you." He digs in his backpack and pulls out a Harrods bag, holding it out. "Was gonna drop it by your room, but mysteriously ran out of energy when I hit the place with the bigscreen tv."

Cordy blinks for a second at Xander before taking the bag.

"What the hell happened to you?" she asked, bag now firmly in her hands. "And what's buttery? Wait, I don't think I want to know."

She opened the bag and might have "awwww'ed" a little. She looked up at Xander and smiled. "Thank you, Xander. He's adorable. And will constantly remind me of the time I was British for a week."

"Is that...good?" he asked. "I kinda liked my weird powers, but I know people who were...less than tickled, shall we say."

He glanced at his arm, since it was the only evidence of his use as an art project that he actually could glance at. "And mean evil women happened to me. As usual. Thus I actually have no idea what's buttery." He blinked. "Possibly my fingers, since they keep wiggling whenever I say that word."

Cordy smiled. "Nah, it was alright being British. At least I sounded sexy," she said.

She raised an eyebrow at the finger wiggling. "Wiggling? Um. That's officially kind of weird."

"Yeah, kinda." Xander stared at his now non-wiggling fingers. "It's buttery," he said experimentally. *wiggle*

Cordy blinked again.

"So is this some kind of new superpower that Fandom has bestowed upon you?" she asked.

"Hey, speaking of superpowers. It seemed like everyone had one two weeks ago. What was yours?"

Xander grinned. "The possessed tv that kept changing channels? That was kinda me."

Cordelia's eyes went wide at this bit of information, remembering that the first time she witnessed that happening it involved her talking with Rory and then the tv showing porn.

"Oh. My god. Wow."

Congratulations Xander Harris, for you have rendered Miss Chase speechless.

"Convenient for freaking people out in the common room," he said, sadly oblivious to the momentous occasion he'd just engendered, "and never having to get off your ass until you run out of twinkies." He lifted his arm. "I'm not sure what the -- buttery -- " *wiggle* "-- thing is good for, if it's a superpower, though."

"Freaking people out, definitely," Cordy said, and may have back away from Xander a little.

"Well, I never figured out what sounding British was good for, other than totally distracting me everytime I opened my mouth."

"Well, there was the sexy thing, you said," Xander pointed out. "Because you need all kinds of help there, yeah."
