2nd Floor Common Room - Evening

Parker really didn't get much done today. She's watching the DVD of Midsummer Night's Dream -- the one with Kevin Kline and Callista Flockhart -- and making mental notes of what *not* to do as Queen of the Fairies.

She's also hoping to run into some people, so she can get some answers about what's been happening while she was in England.

Worn out from the trip to Baltimore and possibly from last night and the night before that, Cameron sauntered into the common room and plopped down on the couch. "Yo, Parkie. Did you bring the madness back to Fandom?"

"Don't tell me it was actually calm around here. The only madness I brought back was living inside the brains of my fellow travelers." Parker rolled her head to the side and studied him. "Anyone heard or seen anything of Darla?"

Bridge wanders in to the Common Room. He's not as bouncy as usual.

"Hey," he says, pouncing on a couch with lots of cushions.

"Hey." Parker smiled. "Haven't seen you for a while. How goes the Spring Break?"

"Bridgey! It has been so very, very, very, very long since I saw you last, woe!" said Rory, who had seen Bridge that morning.

Callisto wandered into the common room, and flopped onto the couch with a grunt that might have been a "Hello."

"Hey. You look... sane." Which was only significant because of their last phone conversation. "How are you doing?"

"Hey, Cal," Rory said a little more gently than she normally would. "How're you doing?"

Marty looks over at Callisto and gives her a cautious wave. "Hey Cal. Not that you really need it, but some guy with a doofy haircut told me to check up on you. Consider this me checking in on you."

Marty then holds up a container of chinese food. "Vegetable Lo Mein?"

Archie comes in after the Baltimore trip, his pockets still bulging with the five or six disposable cameras (all of them completely used now, since it took him a while to get the hang of the viewfinder and how to wind the film) he picked up while he was there. He's in a much better mood than he's been in for a very long time.

"Well," he drawls, "if it isn't the lovely and formidable Parker. How are you this evening?"

Parker smiled at him, glad to see a face that wasn't down for one reason for another. "Rather travel-lagged still, and at loose ends. Otherwise, trying to enjoy Midsummer," she nodded to the television. "It's good to see you, Lieutenant. What's new around the Island?"

"Archie!" Bridge says. "Hi!"

Callisto waved from the couch. "Hey, Archie."

Rory wandered in looking a bit shell-shocked, and sat firmly on the couch.

Alanna waved at Rory with an eating utencil.

Alanna came into the common room, Faithful on shoulder. She looked a bit less homicidal today. Marginally.

Marty looked over at Alanna warily from his vantage point. He waved a cautious wave.

Kara wanders in, an unlit cigar between her teeth. It was nice to see the common room buzzing with life again.

Parker cocked an eyebrow at Kara rather wearily, and nodded as she came in. "Thrace."

Marty comes in after his shift with a load of chinese food from Ching Thai.

"Who's hungry?"

"Ooo! Me!" Molly said as she followed hin into the room.

Xander came in rather quietly after getting back from his visit to Angel at the clinic which was this late in the evening because I said so and picking up a few things around town to refill the mostly empty fridge. He was still decorated with fading but clear Sharpie, and he'd long ago stopped cringing when people snickered at the fishies swimming up his jaw, the maple leaf on his forehead, or the clearly-printed "IT'S BUTTERY" on his left arm. In fact, he gave a tired wave to the room with that arm when he sat down.

"It's... buttery?" Bridge asks, reading Xander's arm.

Of *course* he does a fingerwiggle, you silly people.

Blair bounced in and got very distracted by the movie. "Hey everyone."

After sleeping off any remaining jet bus lag she had, Jaye finally wanders down to the common room and plops herself into a chair.

Cordelia had tried to nap after giving blood, really. She just couldn't make her mind shut up.

So she wandered down the hall, figuring that the common room might be a little busier now that the England folks were back.

She nods at everyone and grabs a seat on a couch.

Xander looks up from his Marty-provided dinner and waves at her with his ink-besmirched arm. "Hey, I've got something for you." He digs in his backpack and pulls out a Harrods bag, holding it out. "Was gonna drop it by your room, but mysteriously ran out of energy when I hit the place with the bigscreen tv."
