Outside Hunting Class, Period 7

"Negotiation not Annihilation!" Blair chanted as he paced in front of the classroom, carrying a sign saying the same. "Negotiation not Annihilation! Also, have some cookies!"

He had thought about carrying a smaller sign stating that the slogan was Professor Lyman's idea and the cookies were Aziraphale's, but then he figured that it probably wouldn't help inter-teacher relations at all.

"Oh, cookies!" River said, sneaking up on Blair and stealing one. "Any progress with the protesting?"

"New slogan." Blair waved his sign. "It's also a good chant."

"Hi," River said, taking a bite of the cookie. "How are you?"

"See, that's a much better slogan. It really catches people's attention and makes them think about what they're doing."

"Thanks, man!" Blair bounced happily. "Professor Lyman came up with it."

"I don't know him. But he has a way with words, certainly. Is it working?"

John sighed as he left his classroom, carrying a large duffle bag. "Mr. Sandburg, we really need to stop meeting like this."

"You're not happy to see me?" Blair pointed at the tin on the floor. "I have cookies."

John looked at the tin, then sighed again. "What exactly is it you want?" Considering how their last two conversations had ended, he wasn't really holding out much hope that they'd be able to keep to a civil discussion, but apparently he was a sucker for punishment.

Alanna took one look at Blair outside the classroom and groaned.

"Afternoon, Alanna!" Blair grinned. ""Negotiation not Annihilation!"

"I'm not even going to try. My blood pressure is high enough as is." Alanna headed into the class room, ignoring the cookies. Her bag didn't though, and a black paw swiped a cookie into it.

The Doctor happened to be wandering the school hallways. He happened to spot Blair. He happened to raise an eyebrow, questioningly.

"Good sentiment," the Doctor said. "But perhaps not always applicable. What's the basis of your protest?"

Walter noted that Alanna made it into the classroom without hitting Blair (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhighdorms/815260.html?thread=62800284#t62800284) and made a mental note to send her some pie.

He rolled his eyes at the protest sign and held out a book (http://www.amazon.com/-World-at-Arms-Global-History-World-War-II-New-/dp/0521618266/ref=pd_bxgy_b_text_b/002-4428215-9083222?ie=UTF8) that had numerous post-it notes sticking out of it. "I thought I'd see you here."

"Hey Walter." Blair pointed to his tin. "Would you like a cookie?"

Walter took a cookie and again held the book out to Blair. "This is for you."

Layla was walking around putting up posters when she noticed Blair. "Hey," she said in greeting, before pointing to the sign. "What's being annihilated?"

"The demon, vampire and ghost population if Hunting class has anything to do with it." Blair said.
