Super Bowl Party, 1st Floor Rec Room, Sunday Afternoon

Thanks to KKG and a little ingenuity, the first floor rec room was arranged for a Super Bowl Party. Black, yellow, red and white crepe paper hung from the walls, a good chunk of the seating in the dorms had been dragged into the room for the crowd, and a table was full of assorted snacks guaranteed to destroy arteries and waistlines alike.

Even if you just wanted to see the commercials, it would probably be a fun time.

She did want to cuddle up and came in close, under his arm, and curled her legs up under her. "I almost didn't come here for this, but I'm glad I did."

"Oh? What was going to keep you away?" he asked with a faint smile.

"I don't know," she shrugged. "Just didn't feel like being too social I guess. It's why I'm sitting here and not mingling."

He kissed her hair.

"All the more for me."

Amber grinned and wrapped her arm around his middle. "All for you. But I wouldn't mind having some wings," she said.

"You mean on your shoulders or on your plate?"

Hey, man, Amber could be weird sometimes.

Let's hope not that weird.

She poked him.

"On a plate."

He bowed his head.

"Then I'll have to go get you some."

She shook her head, tightened her arm around him. "Thank you, but not yet. Not hungry. Are you?"

"I'm never really hungry much," he said, moving his hand to entwine his fingers with hers.

"Miss me?"

Her fingers curled with his.

"I always miss you when I don't see you for a couple days," she said, looking up at him with a warm smile. "Did you miss me?"

He nodded.

"As one misses the sun in the time of storms," he said before turning to her.

"Makejoy is definitely missing her auntie."

Awww, that was sweet. All of what he said.

"Can I come see her later, after the party?"

"You don't even need to ask," he said, echoing her comment earlier with a faint smile.

"We don't even have to stay till the end if you don't want, which reminds me of the girlkissy party at halftime," she said, grinning just a bit.

He blinked and looked at Amber.

"Were you planning on going?"

"Yah, just to check it out," she said, peering up at him. "I'm not kissing anyone else."

"You can, if you, well, if you really want to. I'd much rather kiss you, though."

"No," she shook her head, squeezing his hand lightly. "I don't want to kiss anyone else, Liir. I would much rather kiss you too." And Amber was very adamant on that.

He grinned quite happily at that and leaned down to do just that.

"Nothing could be better than that."

Beat.

"Well, as far as kissing goes."

She kissed him back quite happily.

"Nothing," she agreed.

Then, "...yes, as far as kissing goes." Because there wasn't, not to her. "But what could be better?"

He was red.

"More than kissing."

Amber smiled at him, adored his blushing because he was gorgeous.

"I look forward to that, someday," she said, speaking quietly.

He leaned down in a fit of madness or something like it and kissed her again.

"So do I."

Giggling, she kissed him back, enjoying his playfullness. All these people around and he was kissing her. She wanted to hug him and squeeze him and have her wicked way.

Just not here.

"Much better than just kissing," she told him.
