Second Floor Common Room, Wednesday Evening

For the Darkest Night finale episode, Tony handwavily picked up a couple of pizzas and several pints of ice cream. He filled up a plate for himself with a little of each. Mmm, pepperoni and chocolate. Wasn't too bad, actually.

Tonight's season finale episode featured a number of flashbacks from Raymond Dark's life. From the previews, it looked like most of them involved waterfalls, children in white clothing and butterflies. Very existential. Tony hoped they could fit some shirtless Lee in there somewhere. Maybe under the waterfall.

Oh, you know Dinah's there. Especially if there's food and shirtless Lee!

"Tony, giver of food and good TV!" Dinah bounced in and grabbed a plate, loading up with a couple pieces of pizza and then digging into the chocolate-chocolate chip for a scoop. "So, cliffhanger or no cliffhanger?"

"Cliffhanger," Tony guessed. "That way if the show'd been cancelled, CB could sell comics or something."

Karla drifted in, drawn by the noise. And, to be honest, searching for Dinah.

"Oh, there you are," she said, striving to sound nonchalant. Her eyes were a little wide, though.

As if Firekeeper (and Blind Seer, though he wasn't quite as, er, invested in the whole thing) would be anywhere else tonight.

"It start yet?" she asked as she grabbed some pizza.

"Nope, they're just starting the Previouslies," Tony said.

"Firekeeper!" Dinah leaned over the back of her couch, and reached to scratch Blind Seer behind the ears. "Hi Blind Seer. You guys missed the catch-up on Monday!"

The wolf definitely got some staring from Jack; he'd seen it in flight class, but this was the first time it had really seemed approachable. "Your pet," he informed Blysse, "almost looks like pictures I've seen of werewolves. Hello."

Tahiri reached over to give Blind Seer a pat, and wave at Firekeeper. "You're here. I'm so shocked."

Karla flashed a smile at Blysse and gave Blind Seer a deep nod of respect.

Fiona was there, in a brilliant mood after the day she'd had. She wasn't particularly worried about the television show since she wasn't really invested in the story (or even aware of what it might be) but she was hoping to see Dinah and perhaps spend some time like she had when there'd been campfires, so she was there.

She was playing with her new phone and wearing her flower in her hair and not-quite-bouncing, but she was definitely there.

"Fiona! Hi hi," Dinah said cheerfully, waving a piece of pizza at her. "Grab some food and settle in! We're just about to watch the ultimate TV episode of the year, here."

"Fiona," a nod to the girl she'd worked with for the reserves assignment. "You watch too?"

Griff came bearing powdered cheddar cheese and he'd even invited someone from the hall if she showed since Dinah had made the need to bring someone clear.

"Hope I brought enough cheese for the lot." Oh, so concerned.

Tony laughed. "Thanks, I don't think there was enough cheese here before you arrived."

Rose eyed Griff's food offering. "Powdered cheese?"

Jack wasn't missing this, even if he was a little tired. (Long day.) He went into the common room and found a place on the floor to sprawl. "More with the vampire detective?" he checked.

The phrase still make him smirk.

"Last one of the season," Tony said. "How're you doing?"

Brooke had no idea what was going on, but she was bored, and she'd totally blame her presence on Griff if asked. "So what's this again?" she asked, peering at the TV.

"Hey," Tony smiled. "Vampire detective show called Darkest Night. It's the season finale."

Valentine had remembered that Dinah mentioned that this thing usually happened on a Wednesday, so she didn't think it would hurt to go see if she'd remembered right even though the mun might have fail!availability soon.

"Ah," she said, peeking into the common room, "my efforts prove fruitful."

"Looking for television, people or pizza?" Tony asked.

Rose was tired enough that she probably should sleep, but sitting in her room sounded like no good and watching cheesy tv did. She came in with a Coke she'd snitched from her CR's fridge and found a seat on the couch.

"Any zombies this time?" she asked. "Or just detectiving."

"Detecting and flashbacks," Tony told her. "How's it going?"

"Again?" Diana demanded as she walked into the room.

"Different episode," Tony said. "Have you heard of television or should I give you the spiel?"

She may have made it downstairs a bit late, but Francine wasn't going to miss the finale... or the pizza. Please. She found herself a spot on the floor next to one of the couches and leaned against the arm. "I didn't miss any shirtless scenes, did I?"

She'd helped Firekeeper catch up (shh, she didn't realize it wasn't exactly legal) on the episodes she'd missed, so Tahiri decided she ought to at least show.

"It's that time again," she observed, flopping down onto the nearest patch of clear floor, on her stomach with her feet in the air. "New one tonight, right?"

"The finale!" Dinah called, floating over the popcorn bag. "And so far we have dreams and hallucinations and vague flashbacks to flower-children pasts."

"Looks like I'm last again," Karla sighed, flashing Tony a grin. "More about the zombie guy?"
