What Gwen was learning was that even if you went back on that "I'm better than my hormones" bit this week, it didn't matter if you thought you fixed everything, it came back. So when marched into the common room ready to be grouchy and hate everything some more... and she walked into a party.

There was food spread out, and music playing, and weirdly the furniture had been moved so that a clear circle could be formed around a bottle laying in the middle of the floor. That was sexily ominous.

"I bet." What was that, Gwen. What was that.

"Am I that obvious?" Edward asked, grinning a little once more.

"I mean... everyone's that obvious these days," she smiled.

"Any chance of my getting a kiss from you even if our bottles never meet?" Edward asked, because he had to try, all right?

"Probably," Gwen said, automatically, and winced. "I mean..."

"Probably?" Edward suggested, grinning.

"I mean... if you're gonna do it, now's probably the time," Gwen said honestly. "Standard Gwen operating procedures resume when this stuff clears up."

Meaning she'd stop being such a ho.
