Fourth floor common room- Tuesday evening

What Gwen was learning was that even if you went back on that "I'm better than my hormones" bit this week, it didn't matter if you thought you fixed everything, it came back. So when marched into the common room ready to be grouchy and hate everything some more... and she walked into a party.

There was food spread out, and music playing, and weirdly the furniture had been moved so that a clear circle could be formed around a bottle laying in the middle of the floor. That was sexily ominous.

Raven had no classes, today, so Raven had even less than usual to distract herself. Which meant by the time the sun had set, Raven was reduced to pacing up and down through the dorms.

Oh, hey, a party. That couldn't possibly be worse than wandering up and down the stairs, right?

Amy got back from class today with more energy than usual, so she followed the sound of people's voices up to the fourth floor.

...Oh, this was so high school.

Surprising even herself, she didn't immediately leave, but went and sat down with the group.

Apparently, this was going to be what Travis did this evening. Staying in his room had gotten boring and irritating so he'd ventured out. And while venturing out meant being around people, it also meant an end to boredom and irritation.

And, well, being around people also meant being able to check people out and let his imagination run a little wild.

Edward was a restless boy most days, but this week was especially galling. A party? That, that was a godsend. As soon as he spotted the food, he came wandering on in, grinning brightly.

Yes! A party! A party would help -- or at least it'd be something to do that wasn't just mooning about over nothing.

(Rapunzel had drawn more people this week than usual. Nothing dirty!!! Just...you know. Drawing pretty people had been more on her mind than, say, drawing bumblebees.)

Yesterday, Kathy had bought a ton of cupcakes from Charm City Cakes, figuring she'd eat one every time her hormones attempted to rage out of control.

A little more than a day later, she was heartily sick of cupcakes.

Figuring she'd be nice and share, Kathy had been wandering the dorm, looking for people to foist the cupcakes off on. Finding a party seemed like fate working in her favor. Or maybe conspiring against her, because once again it was a ton of hot people in one small space.

"I brought cupcakes?" she offered. "Please come and take them off my hands?"

She was not going to say anything about what people could put into her hands instead. She was not.

Ezra was one of those people who seemed to have a sixth sense for parties, so of course he showed up.

And he was actually wearing a shirt today. But he looked indecently good in it, so. Someone was probably still goinng to complain.

Anna was having a Day. She'd spent class out on a beach, practically naked, and staring at all of the other people who were way more naked than she was. Which was not proper Princess behavior, but everyone had looked amazing and she wasn't sure how she was supposed to not look at all of the very, very attractive people with all of their exposed skin.

It wasn't helping her wound-up nervousness, the weird fluttering that had been in her chest all week. And sometimes lower, in her stomach, and sometimes just zooming around her body and picking out spots at random. Or ... not at random, but she was a princess, thank you very much, she was not going to acknowledge such things.

A party! A party might help take her mind off whatever was horribly wrong with her. Right?

"Are we having a party?" she asked hopefully. "I mean, are you having a party, like, just whoever's here? Or is anyone invited? I mean, can I be invited? Wait, that's awkward. I don't mean to -- crash your party."

It probably would have been a better idea if Cosette had taken Éponine's suggestion of going back to her father's house, but whatever had her feeling restless had made her a little bit irritable, too, so just for that she was going to not only stay on the island, but find people to talk to.

When she wandered up one floor from her own and found it set up for a party, as far as she was concerned that was a sign.

She had no idea what was with the bottle on the floor, but she would quite happily help herself to some food.

This was kind of difficult to miss, being on Hanna's floor and all. This whole week had been... very odd. But maybe watching other people flirt would help her figure out what she was supposed to be doing with all this restlessness?

"Seems simple enough," Edward decided. Never heard of it before, but was he going to argue here, now? Absolutely not. Especially not since the rest of the lot seemed to be enjoying themselves.

He was, in fact, just going to take that bottle and spin it.

After the game ended, Travis was partaking in a few cold drinks to try and calm down. Too bad he didn't really want to calm down. He felt great.
