6th Floor Common Room, Sunday Evening

So...coed slumber party! Kathy had finally decided to stop stressing over it and just throw the stupid party. Sure, A Sunday was a weird time for a slumber party, but since it was the start of break week, she figured it could work. So her morning was spent hanging up handwavy posters advising everyone in the dorms that there would be a party that night, and her afternoon was busy with party prep.

Not that there was a whole lot of setup required. It wasn't a birthday party or anything, so Kathy had skipped out on balloons and streamers and stuff like that. Mostly she just made sure that the common room was clean, that there was a Rock Band and a karaoke setup available, and plenty of places for people to sleep when the 'slumber' part of the slumber party happened. If it happened. She didn't really know what to expect.

Okay, so what made for a good party? Food? She had a bunch of snacks out, lots of different kinds of chips and sweets from JGoB. Also, she'd set up deliveries from Ching Tai and Pizza Planet for later in the evening, so no one would be hungry. Drinks? She had plenty of soda and juice, and both the non-alcoholic punch and the totally-alcoholic Jell-o shots were chilling nicely in the fridge. Music? Right, her iPod was plugged into speakers and shuffling through her Party playlist. What else could a party possibly need?

People. Right. Parties definitely needed people. Well, hopefully they'd show up, either because of the posters or lured in by music and the smell of food. It was the end of summer. What better time for a party could there be?

When Ringo arrived she was very obtrusively holding a notebook and a pen. "I'm totally going to take a ton of notes!" she declared loudly in Kathy's direction.

Bets on how many pages were going to have anything written on them by the end of the night?

"Just so you know, I'm not looking for a pillow to whack you in the head with," Kathy announced, ostentatiously looking around the common room. "I'm looking for something else all together. Really."

Raven totally showed up in her cute pjs. Well. They were technically her ONLY pjs. But they were definitely cute!

"See, throwing a party isn't that hard."

"I'll believe that when it's full of people and everyone looks like they're having a good time," Kathy said, trying not to fret.

Or, rather, trying not to obviously fret. Someone should probably take away the napkin she was worrying, though.

Ringo waved when she spotted Raven. She remembered the other girl!

"Oh, wow, your pajamas look so cute!" she exclaimed. Her own were, well, honestly kind of boring. Ringo was totally going to have to go shopping for new pajamas now.

Isabelle's pjs were a frilly pink number with a sufficient amount of cleavage, just how she liked it.

She also showed up with a flask in the pocket of said pjs. That was more in line with current events than a usual preference.

"Isabelle!" Kathy said, blinking a little in surprise before giving the other girl a bright grin. She hadn't expected Isabelle to show up and was thrilled that she had. "Hey! Thanks for coming! And--wow. I need to go shopping for pjs wherever you do."

Hanna was there now, with Velcro, although he was probably going back into the room before sleeping was accomplished. She smiled at Kathy as she arrived, and looked around at the other girls.

Her pj's were plain but a very pretty blue.

Alana hadn't been nearly social enough lately, and she figured a slumber party would at least be something to do that wasn't lying on her bed rereading bad novels. She figured she could bail if it got boring, anyhow.

Her sleepover clothes were basic -- navy racerback tank, plaid pajama pants in shades of blue and green. She carried a small box from Wonka's among her overnight supplies.

"Hey," she greeted as she joined the group. "I brought some fudge, if anybody wants a piece."

Kira's pajamas were white with cherry blossoms on them, and she looked around when she came into the common room, glad to see so many other people there.

Ada'd never been to a slumber-party before, at least, not one like this. Everyone piling into one trailer was hardly a cause for celebration when you were packed in like cord-wood.

Of course, her pjs were long enough to hide the majority of her scales, but not so long as to cause comment in the summer. And, well, hopefully any glimpses people caught would be chalked up to the body glitter she was always obvious about wearing.

Being Ada, she showed up with a pack of cards and a bottle of the moonshine she'd swiped before Uncle Chester had sent her off to this place. "So. What's the deal with these things? It's not like those meta for The Babysitter Club books, right?"
