6th Floor Common Room, Sunday Evening

So...coed slumber party! Kathy had finally decided to stop stressing over it and just throw the stupid party. Sure, A Sunday was a weird time for a slumber party, but since it was the start of break week, she figured it could work. So her morning was spent hanging up handwavy posters advising everyone in the dorms that there would be a party that night, and her afternoon was busy with party prep.

Not that there was a whole lot of setup required. It wasn't a birthday party or anything, so Kathy had skipped out on balloons and streamers and stuff like that. Mostly she just made sure that the common room was clean, that there was a Rock Band and a karaoke setup available, and plenty of places for people to sleep when the 'slumber' part of the slumber party happened. If it happened. She didn't really know what to expect.

Okay, so what made for a good party? Food? She had a bunch of snacks out, lots of different kinds of chips and sweets from JGoB. Also, she'd set up deliveries from Ching Tai and Pizza Planet for later in the evening, so no one would be hungry. Drinks? She had plenty of soda and juice, and both the non-alcoholic punch and the totally-alcoholic Jell-o shots were chilling nicely in the fridge. Music? Right, her iPod was plugged into speakers and shuffling through her Party playlist. What else could a party possibly need?

People. Right. Parties definitely needed people. Well, hopefully they'd show up, either because of the posters or lured in by music and the smell of food. It was the end of summer. What better time for a party could there be?

[OCD up and party open!]

Ringo had been a "bit" tipsy when they'd played Truth or Dare. She was well beyond a "bit" by the time the bottle came out. "How does this game work again?" she asked, her words coming out just a bit too precisely to sound sober.

"K-kiss?" Ringo was tipsy enough to be staring at Kathy's lips when she stuttered the word back.

"Um... okay." She swallowed.

"Just... spin it?" she asked, reaching out one hand to grab the bottle and send it spinning around.

"Is that part of it, too?" Ringo asked, only half-listening for an answer as she stared at the bottle, hypnotized by its motion.

"Okay." Ringo sounded really distracted as the bottle slowed down. She was so tense, wondering who it was going to end up pointing to.

Let's RNG this sucker!

Ringo's eyes went wide and she looked across the circle at her friend. Good thing she had been drinking earlier in the night. It was the only way she could manage to look at Hanna with only a hint of trepidation in her eyes.

Hanna gave her a reassuring smile, and worked to keep any bit of amusement at Ringo's expression hidden. "Kisses are fun. Right?"

That smile relaxed Ringo slightly, and she nodded back. "They're supposed to be!" She'd only ever had the two, so she wasn't any sort of expert.

Hanna had only had three, two from another game of Spin The Bottle like this one. She crawled over a bit to sit in front of Ringo, and took her hand, squeezing it. "Do you want to start?"

Ringo took a deep breath, squeezing back. "Okay. But no laughing." Her words were coming out with the over-precise pronunciation of someone who didn't think they were drunk.

She looked into Hanna's eyes again, and smiled. "Fun," she repeated to herself. Then she closed her eyes and slowly leaned forward, hoping she wasn't going to miss the other girl's lips.

Hanna managed not to giggle at the dizzy way Hanna was approaching this, but carefully tilted her head to make this easier, and when Hanna was within range (so to speak) closed her eyed, opening her lips only a little bit. Ringo deserved a good kiss, for being brave enough to go through with this when she hadn't much experience.

The moment of contact came as a surprise to Ringo, and she started slightly, but didn't pull away. She even managed to lean forward the tiniest bit.

Huh. Kissing was, well, still pretty fun.

Hanna giggled, and then finished the kiss with a tiny lick, a swipe across Ringo's mouth that would be a surprise (but hopefully not a bad one). Then sat back and winked at her. "Thank you!"

This time Ringo did start in surprise, but after a moment for her brain to catch up, she smiled. "Thank you," she responded, bowing her head slightly before looking up with another grin.

Hanna grinned, turning a little pink, then scooted back to her side of the circle.

"My turn to spin it now?"
