With the last party they had down at the pool, Graham had made a few hints and allusions to another, second party before the start of the summer session, and, well, now was the time! After mentioning it on radio and spreading the word at the picnic and of course spreading around handwavey flyers and texts, the circle was now complete, as they met the "End of the Semester" party with a "Start of the Semester" party! And while one was underneath the dorms, this one would be on top of it!

So, of course, the roof was decked out with decorations of a very summer-y nature, since that was the semester they were heading into, with music playing to match that vibe, a few beach balls and beach umbrellas floating around, too. And, of course, a table with a lot of moddable snacks, drinks, and Graham's proudest touch: a Neapolitan style sheet cake with the words "LET'S ALL HAVE A SUN-SATIONAL SUMMER!!" written on it, and, below it, in parentheses: "(Seas the Day!)"

So come on up, make the porg intern happy, and have a good time celebrating the start of the semester with a good party, a great view, and even better friends!

Kurt was excited for the start of the summer classes, and a party seemed like a good way to kick everything off. And the first party Graham and Charlie had hosted had been a lot of fun, so Kurt was there and ready for a fun time with whoever showed up.

"Kurt! Hey!" Graham beamed when he saw his friend show up, waving before heading over to avoid just shouting at each other from across the roof. Which he would definately do, but that wasn't the point.

"How's it going? Glad you could make it!"

"Graham, hey!" Kurt called back with a wave. "It's been good, and you? As excited for the next round of classes as I am?" Which was very excited in fact. "I've already got my classes all picked out too. The professor let me choose classes for the summer and I wish I could just take them all!" he admitted with a small laugh.

"Well, I should hope you've had 'em piced out by now!" Graham remarked with a laugh. "Considering they start tomorrow! But what've you got? Anything you're looking forward to in particular? Personally, I'm pretty thrilled about the Loot class; I hope we get to watch that one movie again!"

It would be a sad semester, indeed, when Graham took one of Aphra and Isabel's class and didn't get to watch that one movie.

"Hey, I've made some last-minute choices before," Kurt said with a small laugh. "The dinosaur class and the photography class are the ones I'm looking forward to the most for sure!" He would always be taking any of the dino classes that were ever offered.

"See, I just can't get into dinosaurs," Graham admitted, with a rueful shake of his head, then a shrug of his shoulders. "I just end up wishing they were more like dragons! Now, if we had a dragons class....that would be useful! They say there's a mean,nasty one living underneath h Daventry, you know, so it would be really helpful if that turned out to be true!"

"I can understand that" Kurt said after a moment's thought. "We don't have dragons where I am from. And dinosaurs have been dead for a long long time so getting to learn about them, and even see some, that's just really really cool to me."

"It would still be pretty great to see one," Graham decided, before a thought struck him, and he laughed. "I wonder if it would be hard to learn how to speak dinosaur! There's a lot of different ones, aren't there? That could make it difficult, all those various dialects and accents!"

Kurt tilted his head thoughtfully.

"There are a lot yeah but now I wonder if its like other animals? Does each type of bird have its own language? Or are all birds basically speaking the same language?"

"Hey, not-dad! How's it going?" TJ perched next to him.

"Hey TJ," Kurt said with a grin. "Going good- how about you?"

"Not too bad. Stayed me last week, anyway. Signed up for anything fun this semester?"

"Got a photography class and a dinosaur class I'm really looking forward to" Kurt said with a grin. "The Professor let me choose classes this summer and I had to yr really hard not to sign up for a lot more of them.... but I do want to have some downtime over the summer ya know?"

"Have to have some personal time," TJ agreed, teasing.

"Definitly... All work and no play, definitely isn't my style" he said with a grin.

"There's a shocker." TJ grinned. "How's folks back home?"

"They are doing good. Full force into planting the next round of crops. And the baby goats are growing up fast! I really need to tey and get back to visit sometime soon!"

TJ gave him a deadpan look. "You are such</em a country boy. Goats and crops, seriously?"

"Hey Kurt!" Charlie said cheerfully. "I'm so glad you came!"

"Wouldn't miss it! Thanks for throwing another great one!" Kurt said with a grin. "You ready for the summer session? The classes look really interesting again!"

"All the classes here are cool," Charlie said. "Wait, okay, some don't seem cool to me, but they're always cool for someone and there are more than enough that I think are cool for me."

"Got any in particular you are looking forward to? There were so many great ones to choose from for sure!"

"Oh, pizza and the floor is lava and the one about finding loot," Charlie said. "I can't wait! You?"

"I'm taking the dinosaur class again, I've had several of them and they are always really cool. And Libby and I ended up signing up for the photography class together so that will be fun too I think!"

"Oh, I bet you guys will love that! Lots of crazy things to photograph around here," Charlie said.
