"Just doing my job," Angelus said. He shuffled his feet uneasily, clearly not comfortable talking to people. "Uh... great job too, with the zombie-fighting. Thanks."

"Actually it's - uh - Angel," Angelus said, but he didn't raise his voice much and actually looked happier not to have to make small talk anymore.

Angelus looked uncomfortable at the attention. "Um. I...."

There was a painfully long pause as it looked as though either he couldn't find the words, wanted the world to swallow him whole so he wouldn't have to do public speaking, or possibly both. Ultimately he ended up saying, lamely, "Thanks?"
