"Angel, you're hurt, you should take care of yourself. Are you okay?"

"Buffy," Angelus came forward, instantly concerned. "Are you okay? I lost sight of you out there - I didn't want to think the worst."

Faith smiled. "I'm so glad you're alright. Are you sure you're okay? Do we need to get you to the Clinic?"

Angelus gave her a totally doofy smile. "Nah. I'm okay. You know me: hard to get rid of."

Faith stared into Angelus's emotion-filled eyes and leaned closer to him. "I thought I'd never see you again," she said in an almost-whisper.

"I would never leave you," Angelus vowed. He leaned in closer still, looking as though he knew better, yet could not resist. When he spoke, the word was a soft and aching sigh. "Buffy..."
