Sam led the way to the pool, armed with Marty's cricket bat. She set it down when she got to the door and pulled on the handle.

"Locked." She pulled some tools out of her pocket and fiddled with the lock. The doors opened a minute later. "We ready?"

"I LOVE NO ONE. NO ONE. I HAVE NO ROMANTIC INTEREST AT THIS TIME," Rory yelled before getting hit in the face with water.

"Ummmmm..." Jaye flails in a mental way, trying to remember who she may have seen Rory with, like, ever. With no other name coming to her, she finishes, "BRIDGE!"

Her choice in exclamation meant nothing.

"YOU'RE FIVE, THEN," Rory flailed immaturely. "AND I'VE NEVER KISSED BRIDGEY, ANYWAY. I'VE NEVER KISSED ANYONE AT THIS SCHOOL EXCEPT MY EX-BOYFRIEND, ACTUALLY. OH, AND JAKEY ON A DARE. AND THIS OTHER GUY AS PART OF A CLASS. BUT NO ONE ELSE. REALLY. NO ONE."

Archie stopped treading water long enough to spread his arms out wide and adopt a mock-innocent expression. "What other kind of interpretation could I possibly have had besides the literal?"

If Callisto wasn't busy flailing and splashing at Archie, she might have coughed something that sounded like "Anakin."

Had Archie heard this and then witnessed Callisto's hypothetical reaction, he would have put two and two together and started smirking very broadly at Callisto.

Which would, hypothetically, have been quite suicidal.

If Callisto had happened to catch sight of Archie's hypotetical smirk, she would have immediately stopped trying to drown Rory and started in on Archie instead.
