Second Floor Common Room [evening]

Rory was bored, so after a quick run into town to pick up some Ching Tai to share, she made herself comfortable in the common room with all three King of the Bracelets movies and started with the first.

She was fully prepared to helpfully point out the symbolism and archetypes to anyone who seemed to be missing them.

"Somewhat," he replied. "I've read the original trilogy when I was younger, but the appendix in the third book and the sequel, The Smiley Lion simply made my eyes glaze over."

Rory nodded vehemently. "The trilogy is good. The others are kind of blah. There's supposedly a musical version now, though."

"The musical? I would need to hear it before I'd be able to rate it's awesomeness. I'm still too amused by thinking about the characters sudden breaking into song about how 'They're taking the Halflings to Isengard' in the middle of a serious scene", he said.
