Second Floor Common Room [evening]

Rory was bored, so after a quick run into town to pick up some Ching Tai to share, she made herself comfortable in the common room with all three King of the Bracelets movies and started with the first.

She was fully prepared to helpfully point out the symbolism and archetypes to anyone who seemed to be missing them.

Luke poked his head into the common room. "Something smells good," he commented hopefully.

"Chinese," Rory said, waving her chopsticks in greeting and gesturing to the boxes of food. "Hi!"

Evie waved chopsticks at the boy she didn't know, then turned bright red as she dripped orange chicken on herself. "Hello," she sighed. "I'm Evie Carnahan."

Billy, returning from a long walk in the woods, smelled chinese food. He poked his head in to see if his olfactory nerves were on the level. "Greetings and salutations."

Rory raised a brow. "Hi."

Luke waved his chopsticks at him.

"Let me guess," Z said as she entered the common room. "I should recognize this movie?"

"Probably," Rory replied. "It only came out a few years ago."

Luke waved. "Hi! I don't recognize it at all, but the food's good!"

Peter looked in the Coomon Room. "Evening all." He looked more closely at the television. "What movie's this?"

"Hey, English. No clue," Z admitted. "But there's food!"

"King of the Bracelets," Rory replied. "Have you read the books?"

Heading back upstairs from spending some time outside, Dean ducked his head into the common room as he passed. "Hey, Chinese!"

"Chopsticks are evil!" Luke announced.

Carmela wanders in to the Common Room. "Ooh, I love these movies!" she declares, finding a seat. "Extended edition? Or are these the regular ones?"

"These are the regular ones," Rory replies. "I should pick up the extended ones, though. Have you read the books?"

Tyler stuck his head into he common room, and his attention was drawn to the screen. "Oh, I loved these so much when they came out," he said (because at heart, he was kind of a geek), taking a seat. "Have we hit the giant walking flowers yet?"

Faithful padded over to the shrimp, ahead of Alanna, and stared pointedly at the carton. "Meeow?" "He's trying to play innocent." Alanna narrated as she came in. "And failing."

Billy looked at the cat in confusion. Perhaps the talking had been his imagination?

"What's this?" Schodinger asked from a chair he hadn't been inhabiting a second beforehand.

Layla decided to head downstairs to look for a common room with people in it, and gave everyone a wave as she came inside and sat down.

Krycek grabbed a box of chow mein and a pair of chopsticks before sitting down. "So, what are we watching?"

Jake wandered in half-way through the first movie, looking very zombie-like. "Oh god. Don't tell me it's a marathon?" He dropped down in the nearest available couch space and frowned at the chinese food.

Willow was always up for Chinese food. She came in and looked for a seat. "Hey."

The smell of fresh Chinese food enticed Hamlet down to the second floor common room, but the King of the Bracelets was what enticed him to stay. He grabbed a seat on the couch, while half eying up the spring rolls.

"Which one of the three films are you up to?"

"Still on the first," Rory said, waving. "Hi!"

Evie came in after a full day of studying, blinking a bit at all the noise and people. "Goodness." Her eyes lit up. "What kind of food is this?"
