Second Floor Common Room [evening]

Rory was bored, so after a quick run into town to pick up some Ching Tai to share, she made herself comfortable in the common room with all three King of the Bracelets movies and started with the first.

She was fully prepared to helpfully point out the symbolism and archetypes to anyone who seemed to be missing them.

"Funny," Willow said. "That's the exact same number of wonderful boyfriends I have who save seats for me."

"How strange. I can't imagine why it would work out that way," Peter replied.

"Me neither," Willow said. She took the offered seat then scooted close to him. "Must be one of those weird Fandom things."

"I'm sure that's it exactly," Peter agreed, leaning into her slightly.

Willow leaned back. She smiled up at him. "Hi."

"Hi," he replied, leaning down to kiss her. "How's your day been?"

Willow kissed him back. "Started out warm and snuggly, mysteriously veered into the not as nice, then took a sudden uptick about five minutes ago. Yours?"

"Rather similar actually," Peter said. "With the not as nice part being made up of too much studying."

"Okay you do realize that if it was me saying that the studying would still be a highlight," Willow pointed out. "Not as great a highlight as being with you, but it definitely wouldn't be considered a downside of my day."

"I do realise that," Peter laughed. "But my day has been made up of being with you, studying, and watching these movies that I'm supposed to find the books of. The downfall? Definitely the studying."

"Maybe we should try studying together," Willow suggested. "I could find ways to encourage you."

Peter raised an eyebrow at her. "Would we actually get studying done? Becaue I rather think I would be distracted."

"You don't think I could be stern about your studying?" Willow teased.

"How does your being stern help my distraction?" Peter asked, grinning.

"I could deny you kisses until you got your homework done," Willow pointed out.

Peter looked very, very sad at the idea.

"Think of all the kisses you would get when you finished," Willow pointed out.

"That would be playing very, very unfair," Peter told her.

"Is not," Willow said, snuggling in closer. "It's a system of rewards and punishments designed to make you an excellent, totally not distracted scholar."

Of course she was tilting her mouth up for a kiss as she said that.

Peter dismissed the argument in favour of the kiss.

Willow kissed back since hey, there wasn't any homework around.

Peter drew out the kiss for probably longer than appropriate. "I'm sorry, you were saying?" he asked, pulling back slightly.

Willow had a shy smile. "That I really like being with you?"

"Likewise," Peter replied. "Absolutely likewise."

"Maybe I can be with you tomorrow too?" Willow asked.
