The dorm lawn- Wednesday night at 2 am

At 2 am exactly, a loud buzzing sound rang through the dorms. An not just any buzzing. A loud, obnoxious "BZZZT!" followed by a two-second pause, followed by another "BZZZT!", followed by another two-second pause, followed by a... You get the idea. And the really bad part was the way it tended to feel like it was inside your head when it "BZZZT"ed as you were passing by in the halls.

So due to the "BZZZT"ing and fire safety regulations, the students had to drag their tired, cranky selves out of bed (or whatever), make their way down the halls and stairwells, and file out onto the dorm lawn in the chilly, damp weather, and did we mention it was 2 am?

The Fandom fire department was on hand, but they'd probably make everyone wait for a while just because they were cranky, too.

"'Cause," that was totally a reason, geez, though she didn't think he'd take it.

"Because you already think I'm adorable."

He smiled, wide. "But what if you're not an adorable kisser?"

Ino gaped.

Ino was just going to try kicking him in the shin for that one. "Take that back!"

He laughed and stepped back. "Hey! Hey! Watch out! I could totally lose the towel!"

"You'd totally deserve that after what you said!" she insisted.

"I knew you wanted a peek at me!" he teased. "Knew it!"

She raised her chin. "You'd like to think so!"

Johnny stood tall and just peered down at her, again folding his arms across his chest. "Did you know that all of me gets super hot, Ino? All of me."

"...that gives a really weird mental image, just so you know."

...yeah.

"Does it? Then I guess I'm just weirdly hot," he replied, winking at her.

Okay, that?

Ino had to make a grab for the towel, giggling all the while.

...and this time? He wasn't fast enough to keep her from moving and grabbing said towel. Ooops.

Ino cracked up, giggling madly, and dancing back a few steps with the towel in hand and trying not to look.

Johnny had both hands cupping his manly package. "Ino?" he warned, trying not to grin. "My girlfriend is going to get you."

"Nuh huh," she said, sticking her tongue out. "Savannah'll say it serves you right for teasing me!"

Well. She hoped so anyway.

"Are you just going to stand there and stare at a naked me? Your boyfriend might not like that..." because just then, Johnny removed his hands.

Ino promptly whirled around. "I'm not looking!"

He walked up to stand behind her. "Are you going to give me my towel," he asked, trying to peer over her shoulder.

"I don't know," she said, trying not to blush because he was, like, right there behind her and naked. "Do you deserve it?"

"You tell me," he said, his voice dropping an octave.

She couldn't help it; she shivered.

"Maybe yes, maybe no?"

This week? Was totally not fair. Totally. Still he took another small step forward and bent slightly, his mouth near her ear. "You don't strike me as the indecisive sort, sweetheart."

She laughed softly.

"Well," Ino drawled, "I'm warmer now than I was, so I had reason to be."

"Which proves I knew you wanted my hot bod all along," he decided, the grin evident in is tone.
