With the move back to the dorms over, Alex had immediately headed out of his room (Griff needed to find his jacket soon or later) and down to the deck. It was true, he kind of really liked this place even if it was hot today. That just meant a t-shirt and shorts had to be worn instead of something heavier.

He took a seat, feet up on another seat and leaned back to catch some sun. Last day of the weekend was meant to be spent in the laziest way possible, right? Well, lazy if you couldn't be doing all those other fun active things. Maybe he'd do something like that later.

"Like what?" Vague curiosity caused him to ask the question.

"Well, sometimes people even move on to kissing," Rose said, amused at the question.

"See, I thought you were going to say poetry or love letters," he replied, trying not to gag on the words. Of course, he'd given a handmade stamp collection to someone, so. "I dunno how he'd do with kissing. I told him girls like when guys use their hands and he kind of turned a nice shade of red."

Awww, stamps with kitties and puppies on them? Maybe a little 'LOVE' stamp with flowers?

"I am a poetry kinda girl," Rose said, making a face. "Especially poems about my eyebrows." She still didn't know why someone would write a poem about eyebrows. She grinned at Alex. "Maybe it's just you suggesting it that's making Griff blush."

"Well, who else would be suggesting it?" Alex asked, shrugging. "He sees me more often than he probably sees anyone else. I even took him to the damn sex shop to try and help him out."

Rose tilted her head at him. "Look at you being all nice."

"Well, apparently the book on how girls touch themselves frightened him," he said, trying to sound innocent.

"Well, if it used the word 'lady garden', it'd scare me too," Rose said, laughing. "Other than that, it'd totally be useful."

"I didn't read it and I don't even know if he got it," he said and shook his head. "I tried to get him glow in the dark condoms too but he wasn't having that. I might try porn next."

"You should get something that'd actually help," she said. "Not just 'and then the copy machine repair guy took off his pants.'"

"Rose, you sound like a porn expert," Alex said, amused. "You should help me pick some out."

She snerked. "What to thank Griff for getting me clothes?"

It kinda was a fantastically funny idea.

"And to guide him on his path to understanding that girls can have sex without falling for the guy," he said. "You know, like I do."

"Hey, maybe he can't have sex without falling for the girl," Rose pointed out. "And probably better for him to find one that'll fall in love back." She'd never, ever consider having sex with Griff for that reason. "But sure, I'll totally help in the education."

"Better him getting attached than me," he said and made a face. "Maybe he's built for it."

Rose snickered. "Yeah, now I'm just picturing him as a station wagon."

"Well, you're no fun," Alex said and frowned. "He can't do missionary forever. The girl would end up falling asleep and that'd just ruin him."

"I'm plenty of fun!" Rose replied, frowning at him. "I just don't want to scare the poor guy off completely before he's gotten to the fun parts."

"Such defensiveness," he noted with a slight smirk. "Someone's eager to make me believe she's fun. Must be some doubt there."

Rose shook her head as she glanced over at him. "I like how you always get challengey when the result might benefit you."

"Well, you make it so easy," he pointed out. "Doesn't take much to get you riled up."

Rose stuck her tongue out at him. "I'll have to make it harder than."

She probably wouldn't. Too much temper, that one.

"All I have to do is mention etiquette lessons and learning how to hold your teacup and when to fold your hands in your lap and you're ready to rip my throat out," he pointed out.
