Second Floor Common Room; Early Wednesday Evening.

Turtle felt as though her day had been very successful. She'd scoped out the town, gotten herself a job (starting tomorrow! How exciting!), and had picked up a total of two dollars and seventy two cents in change as she walked around the island. A very good day, indeed, especially since, she could tell from her handwavily grabbed copy of the Wall Street Journal that SEA hadn't continued to drop, and the one she was scoping had raised, but not enough that it wouldn't be enough for her SEA to fail to cover it in a few days. Looking pretty good!

Grabbing a bowl of cereal for her dinner, Turtle plopped out the couch, tucked her Journal beside her, and turned on the television. Now that she didn't have her mother restricting her TV time, she definately wanted to see what kind of channels they got here at the school.

Shawn hobbled in to the common room, with pop-tarts because they really are the one thing he can cook. Once he'd shoved them in the toater he flopped onto the nearest sofa and grinned at the new person.

Then deciding he should add a greeting to that so as not to come off as creepy. "Hey."

Turtle smiled back and lifted her bowl in appriciation for quick-breakfast-dinners, which she could see this guy shared. "Hey. I'm Turtle. I'm new."

Tannim used his advanced culinary skills to make himself a peanut butter and jam sandwich for dinner. He found a Gatorade in the fridge and sat down on the couch. "What are we watching?" he asked Turtle.

"Nuffin' yet," Turtle said, before completely swallowing her bite of cereal. She then did so and wiped a little bit of milk off her lower lip with the back of her hand. "I was jus' kind of flipping. Not finding much. You want the remote, give it a try, Tannim?"

Parker cocked her head at Tannim, frowning a little as she resumed her seat on the couch, then glanced around the room. "Are *all* of you on this floor?"

Marco came into the common room, mostly hoping for food.

Turtle greeted the newest entry to the common room with a mouth half full of food. "Hi, Person!"

Shawn waved at what he assumed was a new guy. "Evening," he said in greeting. Then shoved more poptart into his mouth.

Parker waved to Marco on her way in, heading for the fridge to get a drink. "Marco. Seen any dinosaurs yet?"

"Well well, what do we all have here?" Balthier smirked as he walked into the common room during his handwavily due to mun being sickly exploration of the island.

"We have people, and TV," Turtle answered. "Without parental restriction."

"Poptarts," Shawn said, waving one at the new guy.

Parker wandered into the Common Room, hoping to watch America's Next Top Model without any onlookers, then pouted. "New people. Everywhere."

Ah, well. Have to go with newbie-torment as an amusement, then.

Turtle noted the pout. "Yup. We're in ur rec rooms, watching ur TVz."

Feeling the need to see what he was getting himself into by being here, Jim walked down the hall from his room to see what kind of people gathered in common rooms. He waved to the room with a small, "Hi."

Pam wandered in and sat down, clutching a bottle of water. "Um. Hey," she said with a shy little wave.

Holy crap, more people. This school was turning out a lot bigger than Turtle expected. "Hi, hi, hi," she said it three times, in case more people came in right after Pam, waving a little.

The twins were bored out of their minds. After Ranma had run off this morning, and their coffee hype had warn down, searching for something interesting was next on their agenda.
Since the second floor was just below their's...it was a logical place to search.

Oh, hey, twins! That was pretty cool; Turtle never knew any twins before. "Hi, you two," she said, waving from the couch.

Curious about her new home Irulan wandered into the room. A congregation of people have gathered quite close to a bulky viewscreen. She paused to study it.

Good lord, this was turning into a regular party. At this rate, she'd be much too distracted by all the people to find out why the aliens wanted to kidnap Queen Elizabeth. Maybe Tannim could pay better attention and could fill her in later. "Hello!" she said, giving a wave to the girl who just came in.

Alec poked his head in and, upon seeing people watching tv, decided to join the crowd. He found a place to claim on a couch and flopped down with a sigh. "Man, it's nice to see it busy around here again."

Turtle smiled a little at yet another cute boy. "Has it not been busy?" she asked, looking around a bit because, yeah, this was kind of nuts. So many people!

Mel came back from exploring the island and was looking for anything to do but go back to her room and deal with Zuko.

"Hey. Anyone here not going to tell how weird this place is?"

Tyler had nothing better to do, so he was roaming common rooms again.

Wyatt heard noises coming from the common room, so he wandered out to see what people were up to.

"Ack! And more people!" Turtle giggled. At least she'd abandoned hope of a peaceful, quiet dinner a while ago. "Hi, yet another one I don't know."
