Luke and Z between them had...practically no belongings.

But they did have Artoo, and he'd been cleaning like a droid-y fiend.

And he had a taser. He poised by the door as the inhabitants perched on their respective beds and prepared to convince naysayers of the perfection of this dorm room.

Z was in her best uniform, trying to look like a model of studiousness as she flipped through the SPD handbook for the fifty-leventh time.

Kirk peered into one of the crew cabins on the third floor rooms, and gave it a good look over.

"This room seems ... rather sparse, don't you think?"

Third Floor, Room 308

[personal profile] the_merriest 2007-02-07 09:04 am (UTC)(link)
Rikku's half of the room was as tidy as she could make it on short notice. There were gadgets and thick engineering texts scattered around, some jammed into half-closed drawers, others stacked precariously on her desk. What few personal possessions she had, had a tendency towards bright orange.

"We-e-e-ll doggies, looks like the sun done exploded in your room!" Jed quipped from the doorway.

"Ya got any shotguns hidin' about in here?" Didn't seem right, goin' through a girls belongin's, so he just stood still and shoved his hands in his pockets.

Rikku waved at the man standing in her doorway. He seemed nice enough, if a bit ... odd. "Hiya! Sorry it's all messy. I can't ever keep things straight, you know? It's like, I start organizing and then I get distracted by something I wanted to work on and then I remember I was supposed to be sorting but I forget what I wanted to put where and then I'm right back where I started!"

She shook her head. "Nope, no guns. They took my claw away, too. And my grenades! It's all down at the office, and they won't let me have them back." She's not pouting. Much.

Scrooge jumped about a foot in the air when he poke his head into the young lass' room. "Ach! It looks like Gyro's workshop opened a portal into here."

"Lass, don't ye think that you've got a wee too many things there?" He was almost afraid to ask what some of the gadgets were. Years of dealing with Gyro Degearloose had taught him caution with such things.

Lana keeps the room pretty neat for her and Jim, but the occasional piece of lingerie might be hanging around.

And of course, at the moment the two comfy chairs are slow dancing while the desks and chairs look on. Who knows what will happen next!

Jed stared at them chairs for a full minute, standing in the doorway to the room as he was.

"Want me to shoot 'em for ya?"

Tori sat on her bed, reading a surfing magazine having cleaned her side of the room yesterday. The door's open and Min is currently at the foot of her bed, playing with the tennis ball.

Peter had taken some time to clean in his normal way. Namely, he shoved anything important into the chest at the foot of his bed and locked it. Anything else that was causing a mess was shoved in the closet, under the bed, or stuck to the side of the building just above his window with webbing.

The room didn't look terribly organized, but it DID look fairly clean.

The twins had never been particularily dirty people, so it wasn't difficult to toss a few odd and ends into drawers and straighten out the beds.

Nevermind there were actually three kids in the room rather than two...and that two of the three beds were pushed together on the twin's side..

Ranma was probably out running or training or something. Good thing he lived such a minimalist lifestyle.

Chad wondered what kind of music the inspectors might like. The stereo was quietly pumping out Cake. Everyone liked Cake or Pie.

He wasn't too concerned, but he did make sure that the dinos, Shinobu and Vincente were organized neatly on his shelf, and rearranged his mariachi jacket over his suit of armour so that it looked a little nicer.

Sam had spent the morning making sure his and Dawn's room was meticulously clean. Scout, his bed, and all of his toys were safely holed up in the bathroom, and Sam was sitting on the bed to try to keep it from moving.

Tyler didn't have a lot of stuff, so his side of the room he shared with Alec was neat, almost barren. He reclined on his bed flipping through his History text.

At some point, Alec wandered back to the room. His side was just as neat and lacking in personal effects as Tyler's, and none of the furniture seemed to be moving around.

All the dirty clothes are in the basket. That's the kind of clean you get with Eric Weiss.

Weiss is actually doing homework and his door is open for reasons not related to an inspection, because he's totally spaced that.
