Fifth Floor Common Room, Thursday afternoon

Walter was apparently making a point of enjoying 21st century conveniences, between the microwave popcorn and Wonka soda, the laptop open on the arm of the couch, and his advanced channel surfing skills.

Pup had found yet another superball under something (those things were as bad as beach sand) and was prancing around the common room with it, occasionally dropping it in order to have a reason to yap and chase after it.

Fifth floor common room, Thursday, DAWN

Sokka was asleep, crouched on the back of the sofa, with his head buried in his armpit. As first light stole over him, he slowly awakened. Time to greet the day!

He puffed up his chest, stretched his neck out, and CROWED, as loud as he could.

That settled, he scrabbled at the pantry until it opened, and soon Sokka had breakfast scattered on the floor. He pecked away at the best chickenfeed he'd ever tasted, amidst the shredded remains of the smiling visage of Orville Reddenbacher.

Wednesday Afternoon - 5th Floor Common Room

Pippi had no classes today.

She did have cheerleading and a club later, but no classes.

Time to bake.

A variety of carb-laden treats are piled on the table while Pippi seems to be mixing up some sort of cake batter while singing a song...

Cut for singing )

4th floor common room: Tuesday afternoon

Blair had decided that he needed to learn more about assassins and possible assassin rehabilitation programs. So he was parked in front of the television with a stack of movies next to him and meta for The Bourne Identity playing on the screen.

[ooc: Open and feel free to mod any movies in the stack]

Dorm Lobby, Monday After Classes

Zero set up camp at a card table with a hand-lettered sign on the front:

EVERYONE DESERVES A SECOND CHANCE!
Sign this petition to show you want Alec to stay
Get a discount on admission to my new movie!

He does not have hairy toes!

It's not a bribe, it's an incentive.

Oh, yeah, she also had a basket of lollipops for petition-signers.

The Roof; Tuesday Afternoon.

Chad was feeling lazy and music, not enough on the first part to be against climbing up the stiars to the roof and enough of the second part to bring his guitar with him. He got himself comfortable in a spot a good distance away from the edge and started playing out something with a Spanish lilt to it, that he felt matched the cloudy weather without seeming too dreary. He thought about maybe going to visit Ted at work while he played, but then that first part kicked in. Maybe later.

[[ open as roofs be ]]

Fifth floor common room, Friday evening/night

Nadia decided being social would take her mind off her birthday thoughts.

So she was in the common room now, instead of her dorm room, staring out at the rain.

This? Totally counted as progress.

[ooc: open!]

Gym, Thursday Afternoon

Sometimes? Pip is just kind of oblivious.

Take, for example, today, where he completely failed to notice the fact that a lot of his male classmates had become female.

Now, this isn't to say that he hadn't noticed the increase girl/guy ratio, and had indeed noted more than one girl he hadn't seen before as being "really hot", but he had yet to put two and two together.

So there he was, cheerfully going through his daily workout, oblivious to the truth, and content in his ignorance.

Someone should really go and break him out of that.

[[Gym's open. Please break his mind. Pleeaaaaase?]]

5th Floor Common Room - Late afternoon

It's early for dinner and late for lunch, but Pippi has a gig tonight with the band, so she's making Swedish Meatballs in the kitchenette.

Quite a lot of Swedish Meatballs actually, a prodigious amount even. More then she normally would make.

And she usually makes boatloads.

Possibly cooking is what passes for anger management with little Miss Longstocking.

[[ooc: open as these things tend to be.]]

Roof, Sunday evening - Memorial Service

While the weather had been snowy all day, the area near Bel's garden was free of snow tonight. The space around the roof held a touch of warmth and there was no wind to blow out the candles that flickered in the dusk.

A table by the door held candles for people to hold and a picture of Bel. Blair had found a fairly decent photo from the time in the cabins and while Bel wasn't exactly smiling into the camera, he wasn't glaring either.

[ooc: Invitations were handwaved so anyone's welcome. If you're not normally allowed in the dorms (teacher, townie, alumni) please keep your interaction limited to this post. Also, wait for OCD OCD Up! ]

Shooting Range, Friday Afternoon

Pip first made sure the rules were put up. Didn't want someone to lose an eye. Well, another eye.

SAFETY RULES:

· TREAT ALL GUNS AS IF THEY WERE LOADED

· KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL READY TO FIRE

· BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT’S BEYOND

· ALWAYS WEAR HEARING AND EYE PROTECTION

· NEVER USE ALCOHOL OR DRUGS BEFORE OR WHILE SHOOTING.

· CHECK IN ALL WEAPONS BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE RANGE.

He then pulled out an antique Colt Peacemaker and cleaned it before loading in some bullets and squeezing off some rounds at the targets.

[[Open, as such things are.]]

Third floor common room, Sunday evening

Janet has made her way allllll the way to the dorms, and alllll the way up the stairs after talking to Pam. It's very tiring on her wee little legs, and she crawls up onto the couch with her eight pounds of clothes and towel cape, and decides she's bored.

She spots the remote and her eyes light up, and she reaches to grab it. The problem is, she doesn't know how to work the remote, so she's yelling "WORK!" at it and pouting when that doesn't turn the TV on.

She might need help. Or advice that TV ruins the brain.

[Open, especially for the kiddies, or those who want to entertain said kiddies. La.]

Shooting range: Wednesday lunch time

Jack was looking very amused as he opened the range and posted the rules:

SAFETY RULES:

· TREAT ALL GUNS AS IF THEY WERE LOADED

· KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL READY TO FIRE

· BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT’S BEYOND

· ALWAYS WEAR HEARING AND EYE PROTECTION

He was shooting while he waited for Irulan, concentrating on speed and accuracy, figuring more practice before the weekend's little jaunt could only be a good thing.

[ooc: Jack's here for Irulan, but open for all your weapony or inspectiony needs. Work promises to be GAH so I may be slow.]
Entry tags:

Gym, Wedesday morning

Pip was starting the day off right. With some exercise.

He had gone running, he had lifted weights, and now he was hitting the bag.

If only someone would come to spar him.

[[And by someone, I mean [livejournal.com profile] l1ttle_billy. But the rest of you can use the gym too.]]

Fifth floor common room, Monday afternoon

Nadia was feeling incredibly lazy and tired, so when she sprawled out on the common room couch and switched on the tv, she didn't bother switching it from the epic action movie that happened to be on.

She was asleep before the second explosion finished spewing its brightly colored flames and bad CGI bodies into the air.

She started to dream almost immediately. )

She would probably appreciate someone coming by to wake her up.

[ooc: and so the narcoleptic dreaming begins. If you want Nadia to eventually dream something for your character, it is in no way too late to sign up.

The common room is totally open, too.]

Late Friday Afternoon, Dorm Hallway

Tannim was pondering a poster on the walls with a mischevious look in his eyes.

[Open.]

5th floor common room: Tuesday morning

Blair was busy in the kitchen making waffles and watching the door to see if he could spot River. Starting a new batch of whole wheat batter he did a little bouncy dance in the kitchen. He really needed a waffle song.

[ooc: Open for food!]

Dorm Roof, Monday Afternoon (Before 7th Period)

Okay, so the roof wasn't exactly the best place to go when you wanted to hide your face, but it was kind of The Spot for smoking, brooding, and emo as far as Anders was concerned, anyone else's declarations to the contrary completely disregarded.

He was, in the wake of his alternate persona's weekend activities, currently engaged in all three of the above.

Smoking? Well, yeah. He was flaily and trying to calm down in a very unhealthy way.

Brooding? Hey, he'd been a jerk to a lot of people, threatened to kill a few more, and oh-sweet-Lords-of-Kobol, let vampire Willow bite him. So, guilt, which led to brooding.

Emo? Look, he'd gotten to really like that black-orbing thing. He was gonna miss that.

[OOC: Open for all your OMGWTFAWKWARD or other rooflike needs!]

5th Floor Common Room, Wednesday Morning

Phoebe had heard about the attack on Cally and was a little upset about what had happened to her friend. News like this was doing nothing for her already agitated nerves. She had stayed in her room most of the day yesterday with a headache as she tried to figure out what was going on. First James and now Cally? Who was attacking these people and why?

She had finally given up on getting back to sleep and decided to come out into the common room so that she didn't wake up Cole. One cranky person in a relationship at a tkme was more than enough.

She dropped down onto a couch and started flipping through channels.

"My god, is everything on TV so mindless?"
