Elizabeth had added her poster next to Parker's.

It was her only poster at the moment. There was no point in plastering the school with them if she decided not to run in the end.


Vote Elizabeth Weir as Junior Student Council Representative


She headed back to the corner table where she had started her jigsaw puzzle last week.

She looked distracted, and occassionally glanced across at the poster. Why was she running? Was it because she felt that she should?

Sam wandered into the common room, apple in hand. "Morning, Liz. How're things going?"

"Morning, Sam," Elizabeth replied, looking up from her puzzle. "Things aren't too bad. How's about you?"

"Ooh, puzzle." Sam immediately took a seat across from Liz and began looking for pieces to put together. "Okay, I guess. Finally recovered from New Year's."

Elizabeth snickered slightly. "That was a pretty tame New Year's. But that's okay, because I don't think I was up for anything more."

Lee peers in, sees Elizabeth and waves at her. "Hey, Liz!" he says brightly.

"Lee! You're back! How was your trip?" Sam took a bite of apple, wiping off the end of her nose when it got apple juice on it.

Lee grins before the sinking feeling of "didn't something really weird occur last time I saw this woman?" washes over him quickly. He ignores it. Damnit. He's happy. "Sam! I didn't see you there!," he says, beaming. "My trip was pretty, er, traumatizing so let us speak of that no more. How was your break?"

Sam raised her eyebrows as she finished off the bite she was chewing. Traumatizing? That didn't sound good. Still, Lee didn't want to talk about it, so she'd respect that. "Boring. Very, very, very quiet."

She grinned, "Well, except for the squid hunting. That was fun. In case you're wondering, the pool appears to be giant squid free, and Callisto knows better than to swim in leather. We missed you."

Elizabeth cranes her neck around to look across at Lee. "Hey, you. Welcome back."

"You running for student government again, Liz?" he asks.

Elizabeth tensed ever so slightly, before shrugging half-heartedly. "Thinking about it," she said casually.

Seeing as it was rainy and crappy out, John didn't really feel like running, so he began just wandering the dorm when he couldn't sit in his room any more. As he went past the 2nd floor common room door he saw a poster stating that Elizabeth was running for student council. Peering into the room itself, he saw Elizabeth and a few others.

"Hey Elizabeth. Long time no see."

"Hey, John," Elizabeth smiled at him. "How was your Christmas?"

He shrugged. "I'm not really the Christmas sort. I just got back here yesterday, and it's kind of good to be back. I think. Yours?"

Making his way back from the gym, Cameron sticks his (bruised) head inside the common room. He notices the poster she put up and grins. "Yo, madam president."

Shep winces involuntarily when he sees Cam's face. "Just tell me that Aeryn did not do that to you."

"Nah," Cameron grins. "All Parker's."

"Hey, you," Elizabeth called, before turning around and frowning. "Cam. What happened?"

"Sparred with Parker," Cameron replied. "Don't worry, I'm good... just really sore."

Marty flops down on the couch and kicks up his feet.

"Anything good on TV?"

Elizabeth glances across at him. "I have no idea," she replies. "Maybe it would be an idea to get a TV guide for in here."

"Hey, Liz." Parker wandered in with her own posters to work on. "So you're definitely going to run too?"

Angel passed by the common room after taking Sean for a walk outside. He still had on his leather jacket - wet from the rain - and Sean proudly wore his yellow rainjacket and hat.

Angel nearly didn't see the posters with his name on them yet again, but this time something made them catch his eye.

He stopped.

He stared.

He then shouted "Maureen!"

Parker didn't even look, she just threw a marker in the direction of the person using that name. Whizzzzzz!

Then she turned around to glower. And ended up grinning guiltily. "Wings. Hey. How was your vacation?"

"Hey, Parker," Elizabeth replied, leaning back in her chair and looking across at the other girl. "Definitely isn't the word to use. It's a possibility at the moment."
