Outside the Danger Room, 7th Period

Blair was tired and sore and looking a little worse for wear. He sported a bandage on his forehead and several small cuts and bruises were visible on his face, neck and hands. His cast on the other hand was looking suspiciously shiny and white, as Aziraphale had kindly fixed that for him.

Also, he was without his backpack, but that might be hard to tell since he was sitting down on the floor just outside the danger shop door, the stop-sign shaped with the word "THINK" laying in front of him. It wasn't his best sign, but he felt really guilty about flashing a sign about not killing demons after last night.

Bel nodded to Blair as he walked stiffly toward the danger room, looking pretty beat up as well, including claw marks on his face and neck. "Hey," he said, just a little apprehensively. Nervous about what Blair would think after seeing him totally demon out last night? Not at all.

"Hey." Blair replied, looking up at Bel sadly. "How are you?"

"Sore," Bel admitted, wincing a little from the pain of his injuries. "How are you?"

"Well, that's the first time your sign has made sense," commented Pete as he headed into the classroom.

"Uh...thanks?" Blair replied.

Nadia headed over to the weekly protest, then stopped and blinked a lot.

"Madre del Dios, Blair, what happened?"

"I'm fine." Blair said immediately. "Just a little banged up."

Conner took in Blair's bandages, cuts, and bruises on his way in to class, and just about skidded to a halt in the hallway. "Dude, what happened?" he asked. "Someone didn't try and throw down with you for protesting, did they?"

"No, man." Blair said, although he looked around to see if Alanna was nearby. "I took a road trip with Dr. Wilson yesterday."

"Oh, accident," Conner said, nodding as he jumped to the conclusion. "You guys are both okay, though, right?"

"Hey, chief, what happened?" Jim asked as he headed for class, concerned. "I hope the other guy looks worse."

"I think the other guys look dead." Blair said sadly.

Peter nodded to Blair then stopped in concern. "What happened to you?"

"Demons." Blair said. "Did you know they have axes?"

Pip stopped in front of the Danger Room and blinked at Blair. "Dude, hat happened? Was there an accident or do I need to find someone and beat the holy hell out of them?"

"There's no one left to beat, man." Blair shook his head. "But I appreciate the sentiment."

"Dr. Wilson and I had a run in with some demons last night. We're all okay."

Pip's eye widened. "What happened? And how'd you get out alive?"

By this time John had come to expect to find Blair protesting outside his class. He didn't expect him to look like ten miles of bad road. "What happened to you?"

Blair was a little on the cranky side and he winced as he stood up to face John. "I got in some pratical experience last night."

That really got John's attention. "What happened?" he repeated, concern creeping into his voice along with the demand to know.

Alanna took a long breath before walking up to Blair. "What happened?"

Blair was very tempted to tell her that someone beat him up for protesting. But reason got the better of him before he opened his mouth.

"Demon attack on the mainland."

Give the girl some credit, she didn't smirk or say 'I told you so.' Instead, she sighed and rolled her eyes. "Are you okay? My services as a healer are always available."
