Dorm Lawn, Tuesday into Wednesday Night

Okay, so the weather on Fandom was slightly less bone-tinglingly cold than the mainland, but that was really all there was to be said for it. One thing it wasn't, for instance, was ideal weather for anyone to stand around in for prolonged periods of time.

Which was why the Powers That Be had decided it was the exact ideal time to have a fire drill. Loud noise rang through the dorms at exactly 2 AM; good morning, students.

Hope you had time to snag a coat.

Big Top Bounce Campfire, Thursday Morning

Jackson was getting pretty ready to move out of the campgrounds. Actually, he'd been pretty ready to move out from the moment he'd first seen the bouncy castles, and that had been before he'd found out that he'd be waking up every damn night to find Stiles drooling on his shoulder after rolling across the castle to where he was. So if the girls in the castle had been woken up by his bark of "GET OFF ME, STILINSKI" several times in the past week and a half, well, Jackson was ––

... Well, no, Jackson wasn't sorry. If he was suffering, so should everyone else.

But apart from the continued inconvenience of living inside a children's play area, Jackson was actually in an okay mood. With the kanima business him, he was feeling pretty good about himself. Strong and powerful, even. Werewolf now, and not someone else's plaything. Things were looking up. (And he was yet to realize what day the day after tomorrow was, and consequently, what day tomorrow was.) All in all, this meant that while he was sitting outside by the unlit firepit, eating a cold Pop Tart for breakfast, it might actually not be a hugely bad time to approach him.

By Jackson's standards, anyway.

Second Floor Common Room, Saturday Morning

There could've maybe been reason to freak out when you woke up in a strange room with no recollection of how you'd gotten there. But Helen was honestly just glad to be magically away from her freak show clusterfuck of a family. Even if it meant having to feed a strange cat who was very insistent that she pay attention to him.

And having done that, she'd set out to explore. Which had quite naturally led to stealing some fruit from the common room kitchen, before spotting the art supplies. And that, in turn, led just as naturally to spreading a bunch of the stuff on one of the tables and getting started on a collage with defaced Cosmo clippings and an ironic use of glitter, while snacking on fruit.

Now she was in her element.

[ooc: Open! Nat is now troll-haired Helen from Rampart.]

Fandom High Lacrosse Club, The Gym, Tuesday After Classes

Unsurprisingly, Jackson hadn't had the focus to put together any specific kind of training today, so he'd decided to email his club members that they were hitting the dorm gym. It seemed like the most productive way to work out some of that annoying tension.

Of course, once he got there, he found out they only had one locker room available. The other one had some kind of a... gremlin infestation. Fosse hadn't been very forthcoming with the details, and by the look on his face, Jackson had decided he really didn't even want to know. The club could just deal. And hey, Jackson had already gotten distracted by how good his own reflection looked twice today. A gender neutral locker room was just par for the course, at this point.

He wasn't going to be apologetic about it. If someone was offended, they could just turn around and leave. And possibly get their ass leered at.

He also wasn't going to be too wordy with the isntructions. "It's a gym," he said. "You know what to do."

Third Floor Common Room, Late Saturday Morning

That Korra was ransacking the common room cupboards for food was not that unusual a thing, though usually she wasn't quite so tall, shirtless or, well, male. Though she was trying to focus on the tall part, since it was helpful with reaching the higher shelves.

Still, if there was any doubt whatsoever as to the identity of the only Water Tribesman on the island, the polar bear dog inching ever closer to the couch would probably help clear that up.

The Fifth Floor Common Room, Saturday Night During the Sock Hop

With the Sock Hop going on down in town, Korra was using the relative peace and quiet to practice her bending.

Korra did not necessarily need an Idiot Ball to make bad life decisions. )

[OOC: The Avatar has defeated the television! Huzzah! Open for reactions, though pings may be slow on account of sleep-vikings.]

Fandom High Lacrosse Club, 1st Floor Rec Room, Thursday After Classes

Yes, the sports club was meeting in the dorm rec room today. There were two reasons for this: one, the weather outside wasn't great. Two, Jackson had had other things on his mind since the weekend, and hadn't had the time or the inclination to figure out what they needed to learn next. He'd think on it over the break. (Also, relocating into the dorms kept Derek from lurking around the meeting, so guess there were about... two and a half reasons for this.)

"Today, you're going to learn by watching," Jackson informed them from his spot on a couch. "What I've got set up here ––" He nodded at the big TV. "–– is a video of one our matches back in Beacon Hills. I figure you could benefit from seeing how an actual game goes before we do any actual playing."

Also, he was busy texting his ex-girlfriend's BFF.

"I'm number 37, you won't be able to miss me." Captain and star player, see. And this match was from the time before Scott's sudden skills, too. "Oh, and keep an eye out for Stilinski. He's not actually on the field, naturally, but you can sometimes catch glimpses of him on the bench."

Yeah that was one douchey smirk he gave them. Then he pressed play, before going back to focusing on texting. It was important stuff.

[ocd up!]

Third floor common room [Saturday morning]

Cade was being followed around by a karking animal today. A talking karking animal called a hy-eeda or something.

"STOP EATING THE COCOA PUFFS."

...that apparently shared Cade's taste in breakfast cereal.

"Kark me," Cade groused, flopping onto a sofa.

Outside the Dorms, Very Very Late Monday Evening/Too Early Tuesday Morning

It was raining.

It was not raining very hard, but it was definitely raining at the insane time the sirens went off across the school. The lawn outside was slowly but surely turning into a wet mess, and the grass was just high enough in some places that it might leave wet splotches on an unsuspecting passer-by's pants.

Clearly this was a great time for a fire drill.

It was clearly also a great time to test the new volume on the sirens, which blared even harder than they had ever done before. Hope you didn't have to take any tests in the morning, kids!

The Deck, Sunday Morning

Korra had been trying to meditate, as much in the vain hope she'd get a vaguely useful flashback from Aang or one of her other previous lives as anything, but she'd never been much good at it, and between one thing and another she was in no frame of mind for it.

Plus, Naga had decided she'd been terribly neglected during Korra's classes and had rolled over to present her belly for seriously needed scratches. So that had been the end of that.
