The Roof; Sunday Afternoon.

There was a possible threat of rain in the air, but Setsuna didn't mind. The clouds were heavy, but some sun was breaking through, and she knew that with her new powers, even the strongest storm would not dull her senses. In fact, she almost hoped that some thunder would start; she might then be able to test her control of her techniques to manipulate the lightening.

For now, though, she was lying, stomach down, on the roof, her wings stretching out luxeriously behind her, so happy that she had barely kept them contained all week, with her feet kicking idly in the air. She was writing in a notebook. The Japanese characters flowed from her easily and quickly; her mind was positively abuzz with ideas. More often than not, they were ways in which to show her superiority over all these humans in the next few days.

Ohhh, it should be quite interesting indeed.

[[ open, if'n you want to dare to tempt the demon ]]

The Salle; Thursday Morning, after Second Period.

Setsuna was feeling a little shocked, but mostly confused, by a rather...positive response to using a sniper rifle in class today. She felt like she was betraying her roots and knew that the only way to make up for it would be a seriously hardcore session in the salle with her nodachi.

Although, really, that was what she planned on doing today, anyway...

[[ of course the salle is open, silly. :) ]]

4th Floor Common Room, morning

Up early, Isabel wandered out to the common room for coffee and quality morning TV. At the moment that meant watching whatever was on for Shark Week.

[open like a common room]

The Salle; Tuesday Morning after 1st Period.

It shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone that Setsuna was working in the salle this morning. The sign, though, on the door, however, might have caught a few off guard.

Enter with Caution.
Potentially Dangerous Techniques being Practised.

By potentially dangerous, Setsuna was referring to the wind attacks she was executing, often sending the pile of rocks she used to practise on flying and keeping up with her speed, her quickness, to take care of them before they hit anything, either through more Shinmei Ryuu or the sheer force of her chi paired with Yuunagi's steel. This was no light forms, that was for sure.

[[ open of course. Watch for falling rocks! ]]

Fourth floor common room, Wednesday afternoon after workshops

The good news was that Will had picked up a new CD, with an upbeat sound that would be good for dancing to.

The bad news was that the stereo had broken after she'd put it in the common room's CD player, so she couldn't get the disk out, nor could she get it to stop repeating the same 47 minutes of music over and over. Will wondered to herself if she'd get in trouble for breaking open the stereo to get her disk back. Or if she'd ever want to listen to it again after this.

The common room was open, but noisy.

(OOC: I have to run off for a bit to celebrate my little brother's birthday, but the room is still open, and I will be back later. Back.)

The Gym, Tuesday Morning

Realizing he hadn't gotten any training in since he'd been sick, Adam trekked down to the gym, intent on exercising.

After stretching to make sure he wasn't going to hurt himself accidentally, Adam grabbed a practice staff off of the rack. He started moving through routines, his movements flawless. Must be all that training.

[OOC: Open!]

Fourth Floor Common Room [evening]

Aravis was bored, and in a particularly lazy mood.

Which was why there was a lethargic Aravis lounging on one of the couches, a sleeping rat on her stomach and a puppy at her feet (when he wasn't scampering around and nosing at things in the room.)

She idly flipped through the channels, slowly polishing off the last of her candy stash.

[zomg, bored and awake all night. open!]

The Salle; Thursday Afternoon.

Mostly to take some of the attention off the pain behind her shoulder blades, Setsuna headed toward the salle. She got Yuunagi out of the weapon's locker and got out the materials for cleaning her. The actions were not only very important to the maintenance of the blade, but she found them relaxing, therapeutic, meditative. And when she was finished, she would then practise, the cleansing allowing her to have a new surge of life to the steel....She liked times such as this, when she didn't have to worry about anything else, when all it was was her and her sword...

[[ salle's open for all your salle neeeeeds. ]]

Third Floor Common Room, Wednesday Night

Rikku was chilling out in the third floor common room, in her PJs and with some of her birthday gifts in tow.

Hey, Hamlet had gotten her a candy basket, that meant he wanted her to have it, right? And some Lucas guy had brought her a whole case of some neat-tasting stuff to wash it down with.

She couldn't think of a better way to zap out her emo than to get hopped up on candy and whatever this Jolt stuff was and watch some movies.

(VERY OPEN. Come have candy and jolt and embrace the insanity.)

Fourth Floor Common Room, Monday evening

Charlie had a huge pot of water for spaghetti boiling, tomatoes and onions chopped up, garlic diced into tiny pieces, and hamburger browning.

She was sure she was forgetting something. Anyone who wanted to help her make dinner was more than welcome.

The Salle: Tuesday afternoon

Karal arrived at the Salle just after lunch. Carefully setting a box of pastries down on a bench, as well as two bottles of iced tea, he spent a bit of time stretching, just as Kerowyn had taught him.

He might have spent slightly longer warming up than was strictly necessary, and he might have been watching the practice swords warily as he did so, but eventually he selected one and began carefully working through the exercises Setsuna had shown him. First with his left hand, then with his right.

[ooc: Karal is waiting for Setsuna, but totally open for anyone. I am going to bed now, but will be up to grab pings in about five hours.]

Fourth Floor Common Room, Monday Evening

Marco decided to welcome all the new students in the true Fandom fashion: shock value. So there is an anteater sitting there, watching television. The remote control? Is hidden, as well Marco's clothes because he likes the first Fatal Rock Die Hard and doesn't like running around in underwear. There's also a bowl of popcorn, though any other food would have to be found in the kitchen.

[Open like a common room that is open.]

Fourth Floor Common Room, Dinnertime

Isabel was in the mood to cook. After a trip to town to get supplies, she made a huge pot of taco meat, and then spent some time slicing and dicing an assortment of totally moddable toppings. There was even chocolate cake for dessert.

There was a CD glowing on the counter as it played some Jimmy Buffet and Isabel was quietly singing along. "Fins to the left, fins to the right and you're the only game in town..."

Fourth floor common room: Thursday morning [before workshops]

It was Thursday morning. It was Karal's last day of classes. He'd woken up early, as per usual, and for some reason he thought it would be a good idea to attempt breakfast.

Karal had never cooked before. Ever. But there were eggs in the fridge, and milk, and cheese. A further rummage turned up bacon, onions and some mushrooms, and, well, a lot of other things he didn't recognise. He left those where they were.

"I think I can make an omelette from these," he told Altra, who was perched on a chair, watching him. "I am fairly certain I know what one is."

:This will end well,: the 'cat drawled, shaking his head.

"No, I am sure I know what it is. Eggs and other things, all cooked up together." He surveyed the ingredients and nodded firmly, pulling out a frying pan. "It cannot be that difficult."

Altra facepawed. Luckily there was coffee already brewed, which Karal did know how to make.

[ooc: open, of course!]

Fourth Floor Common Room, Sunday Evening

Adam was feeling a bit tired when he made his way into the common room. He made himself a bowl of popcorn and turned on the television, looking for nothing in particular.

Which was why he was now staring at the television in what looked to be a mix of horror and genuine surprise. Adam really didn't know what to make of what he was seeing. "Abaranger?"

Yep, the boy was stunned and now wide awake.

[OOC: So very very open!]

Fifth Floor Common Room, Friday Evening

Everyone seemed to have  gone on the camping trip, so John thought he'd have his own camp out in the common room.  There was no tent, but there was food and a television showing the series finale of Wormhole X-Treme.  He told himself this was far better than actual camping, especially after the crazy Fun Run.

The Roof; Thursday Morning.

Setsuna found herself in a bit of repose (certainly not emo, thank you very much) on the roof, sitting with her body positioned toward the ocean and the many things that lie beyond it. Of course, one of the first things she did when she, Ami, and Billy returned from the rendezvous point was alert the people back at Kansai that Amagasaki was on the move again, but it still didn't settle her nerves at all that they should be willing to go this far just to get rid of her. If they were planning something and it went further beyond Tsukuyomi's little girlcrush quest to beat her...they must be planning something really big if they figured she was a threat while in an entirely different country still...

Thus...restlessness. And emoing...errrr, thinking on the roof.

[[ roofs. they be open. ]]

Fifth Floor Common Room - Tuesday Evening

After work, John set himself up with food and in the common room.  He flipped through the channels before settling on the thriller The Bleating of the Bunnies.  "What kind of person would wear someone's skin?" he asked the screen, shaking his head.

Obviously John hadn't read the book.

[ooc: open!]

The Salle; Friday Morning.

While she was waiting for Teddy to arrive for their sword lesson, Setsuna, of course, worked through her forms with Yuunagi. To an untrained eye, her moves were impressive. That might even be the case for the trained eye. But, to Setsuna, she could tell in the small ways she was slipping up too much and should be practising more. Her work was getting slightly sloppy...

[[ Setsuna's meeting with [livejournal.com profile] notthehulk but open for all your salle, non-phone-crack needs! ]]

Fifth Floor Common Room, Thursday Evening

This was getting to be a habit.

Ronan pulled the casserole dish from the oven, and set it on the counter. When he pulled off the lid, the odour of the meatballs, in their savoury, tangy, tomato sauce, escaped and filled the room -- and, if prior experience was any indication, likely the entire building. He pulled a packet of toothpicks out of his basket, setting it beside the casserole, the only kind of utensil for this kind of meal; this was definitely a 'stand, eat, and chat' evening, and there was plenty for anyone who wanted to come by. There were also crackers laid out on a tray. and some sliced peppers, to help round out the meal.

(OOC: And Ronan once again feeds the dorms. :D )
