School Grounds, Then Preserve - Tuesday Night (6:30pm onwards)

Lucas went around and picked up the people he said he would, then headed down to the back of the dorms to wait for the others.

[Locked to plotty people please. OOC post for people involved.]

The dorm hallways - Tuesday afternoon

Annette was rollerblading through the hallways of the dorm. She was in a pretty good mood and was just rolling along, singing to her ipod. Of course, her singing was kind of loud, and it could kind of make you cringe if you listened for more than a half-second.

In her hands she carried a medium-sized basket full of yummy Valentine candies. She was handing them out to whomever passed. If you're lucky, you might get one. Except Parker. Parker might still want to do some sort of bodily damage to Annette. If Annette saw Parker, she just might have to offer her the whole damn basket.

So wheeeee! Yay for candy!

(ooc: open!)

The Salle, Monday Afternoon

There are people -- mainly swordmasters and those crazy guys from movies about Vietnam -- who believe that in order to be a good fighter, you have to know your weapon, love your weapon, be your weapon, caress it like a lover, eat with it, sleep with it... You get the picture.

The point is, even those people's stomachs would be turned by Sokka right now.

He cradled and caressed his boomerang, clucked and cooed over it, hugged and squeezed it, gave it bubbly kisses, apologized for being away from it for so long...

And also used it to completely obliterate targets on the other side of the salle. A lot.
And when some vicious coconuts snuck in and attacked, he used it to dispatch them, as well.

Roof - Thursday Evening

Balthier laid on his back, staring up at the stars. So far this week wasn't going well. First there was that fiasco with Demyx, his gun was disgusting and gunked, everything was turning into pies, and there was all those crazy toys going around.

The peace and quiet of the roof was what he needed at the moment, though he knew that around here it was something that never lasted long.

2nd Floor common room - Thursday Afternoon

If Balthier saw another pie, he swore that he was going to shoot something: preferably the pie. Sadly though, this was not possible. A because his gun was currently gunked up from the said pies, and the cleaning supplies would not be in for another week and B. Guns were not allowed on campus.

The pirate had at least thankfully escaped the living toys debacle yesterday; the worst that had happened was his Chocobo keychain wouldn’t stop wharking at him, and even that had been adorable.

He settled himself down on the couch and flipped through the channels before settling on a show called Hours of our Existence. It was dramatic, badly acted, and with storylines so outrageous that Balthier found himself laughing at every turn.

"I can't believe they're being serious."

[OOC: I don't know if there is a meta for Days of our Lives, but there it is. XD;]

2nd Floor Common Room, Tuesday Night

The common room was decked out in Christmas lights and white streamers, all up very high thanks to Chad's help. In honor of the theme, there were torn out pages from mens' magazines decorating the walls of the room. And more than a few of shirtless men as a nod to those of the female or gay alien persuasion.

A sign hung over the entrance because the theme was important.

Not allowed in unless you're showing at least 50% of your skin

And yes, there were pies of almost every flavour imaginable, especially considering how quickly random objects in the room turned into pie.

[[ooc: Please wait for OCD is up, have at it!]]

Dorm Hallways, Monday Evening - Rikku On Patrol

The last thing Rikku actually wanted was to run into more people and have to apologize for her crazy behavior this past weekend - although everybody had been really nice about it so far, which was great, but it was still mortifying, to say the least. But she had to, so no use complaining about it.

So Rikku was wandering the hallways, popping her head into the common rooms, and generally lurking in the stairwells, trying to catch a random glimpse of anybody she might need to talk to.

It would really help if she knew more people's names. In the meantime, she'd just keep looking.

[OOC: for [livejournal.com profile] strahl_pirate and anybody else who wants to bump into Rikku, or wander by for her to bump into them. Particularly good if you need your loot back ASAP. I am also having her track people down, so she'll catch up with your char sooner or later.]

Second Floor Common Room, Sunday Evening

D'anna was hunting. She'd laid her trap carefully. There were bowls filled with snacks, sliced pies on the counter, a full pot of coffee, and cold sodas and water bottles in the fridge.

She was hunting subjects of infrared photographs for M's class. To that end, she had also removed all the light bulbs from the lamps and every other light source.

Then she flipped on the television to a run of Stooping Panther, Clandestine Serpent and found a good hiding spot.

[OOC: If you'd rather not be photographed, just put it in a strike out or an ooc note and no photo shall be had. She will not be photographing le risque. I'm hopping that the light from the TV will be enough for people to see but not enough to screw up her photos. I may be wrong.

ETA: Eventually D will give up, put back the bulbs, leave the lights off, and just watch the movie.]

2nd Floor Common Room, Sunday Morning.

Cassie sat in the common room, wondering what the heck was going on upstairs. Sure seemed a lot of noise.

When she thought she heard the ceiling creaking? She got nervous. This place was structurally sound, right?

[ooc: Sorry. Couldn't resist. Open!]

2nd Floor Common Room - Late Saturday

Things were, for the lack of a better word; crazy. After seeing a good majority of the people he knew completely change, Balthier had opted for staying in his room most of the day. Which was all fine and dandy until one needed food.

He made his way to the common room and made himself and small salad, before settling down on the couch and flipping on the History channel. They were showing a very interesting documentary on the history of airships, so far something that seemed right up Balthier's alley, and at least it wasn't another thing about that "Hitler" gentleman.

Second Floor Common Room, Friday Night

The SciFi Channel had an all-night marathon of the original Strifenova Celestial. Tannim was there, with popcorn and Gatorade.

Second Floor Common Room, Thursday Evening

Anders had gone back to his room after Ares's class and taken a long nap. Luckily for him, he didn't have any classes tomorrow -- which was good considering that now his sleep schedule was going to be all wonky.

Anyway, he had finally hauled himself next door to the common room, where he was devouring a chicken Caesar salad about the size of a small jacuzzi while watching cheesy old action flicks.

"Wow, the stunt bottle over the head really is universal, apparently."

[OOC: Open like, uh, something open.]

Second Floor Common Room - Wednesday Evening

Perhaps he was feeling generous, perhaps he was feeling suicidal, but Balthier had handwavy purchased groceries to make omelettes for himself and anyone else who wanted some. There wasn't anything odd in them, at least not by this world's standards, so Balthier was fairly sure that no one would be grossed out.

He flipped on the television the standard evening news, just to have background noise, but he wasn't really watching it.

[Open for anyone of course, and there's free food if you ask nicely.]

Second Floor Common Room, Tuesday Evening

After realizing she hadn't taken her turn at feeding the voracious hordes recently, Zero made a trip down to Ching Tai and returned with prodigious amounts of Chinese takeout, which she set up in the common room. Then she helped herself to some ginger chicken and lounged around watching "Mighty Capin' Justice Magicians" on the TV. Her good deed for the day was done.

((Open to all, as common rooms usually are. :D))

The Roof - Friday Late Evening

Stars didn't change no matter where you were, everywhere they still brought a sense of peace, and that was what Balthier needed at the moment. Even the briefest mention of his father earlier had set the pirate on edge.

He had grabbed his grocery bag of apples, as well as a water bottle and headed up to the roof for some peace and possible relaxtion stargazing.

2nd Floor Common Room - Friday Afternoon

Dick was sitting on the couch, watching old CFD re-runs. He also had a bowl of popcorn in his hand which was mostly un-burnt. And yes, he considered popcorn a valid meal. It was made of corn after all and corn was a vegetable!

((Open like an open thing))

2nd Floor Common Room, Thursday Night

Valentine had wasted enough time getting himself acquainted to the lay of the land-- he hadn't had a decent meal since he arrived on the island and he still hadn't figured out how to get the food out of the mysterious food boxes that were placed here and there throughout the dorm building.

So he figured he'd fall back on the one thing that he could always count on to get him a meal, and he figured he'd do it in the second floor common room-- those places seemed busy enough, after all.

Armed with pocketfuls of glowy spheres, Valentine stood in the middle of the common room and he juggled like a juggling thing.

Any passers-by would be greeted by a hungry man in a mask and a floppy coat, throwing and catching shiny orange balls with real street-performer pizazz.

(OOC: Open to all who have common room needs- but I've had my fill and am now heading off to bed. And yes. I did just say pizazz.)

2nd floor common room, Thursday afternoon

Miley dumped her last suitcase on the floor and flopped onto a couch. Even with only bringing the essentials, she was carrying way more luggage than the average 14 year old should have. She stared at the pile of suitcases, garment bags and makeup cases next to her and decided that vegging out in front of the TV seemed like a plan.

A very lazy plan, but a plan.

[Open!]

Second Floor Common Room; Early Wednesday Evening.

Turtle felt as though her day had been very successful. She'd scoped out the town, gotten herself a job (starting tomorrow! How exciting!), and had picked up a total of two dollars and seventy two cents in change as she walked around the island. A very good day, indeed, especially since, she could tell from her handwavily grabbed copy of the Wall Street Journal that SEA hadn't continued to drop, and the one she was scoping had raised, but not enough that it wouldn't be enough for her SEA to fail to cover it in a few days. Looking pretty good!

Grabbing a bowl of cereal for her dinner, Turtle plopped out the couch, tucked her Journal beside her, and turned on the television. Now that she didn't have her mother restricting her TV time, she definately wanted to see what kind of channels they got here at the school.

[[ common room. open. duh. =D ]]
