Ursa Major, Sunday evening

Willow was on a couch in the common area, watching TV thanks to her computer-fu.

Currently she was watching a Bridezillas marathon.

She was a little speechless.

[open for Ursa Majorettes, or those who feel like knocking]

Ursa Major Campfire: Sunday Evening [5-10-08]

C1. That was easy enough to remember.

It had taken her two trips to move her things down to the cabins, largely because she couldn't narrow down what books she wanted to bring any further, and of course she was sure she'd soon discover things she'd forgotten. But for now she was enjoying her favorite part of living in the cabins.

The campfire.

She just wished she'd remembered to get some marshmallows.

Dorm Lobby - All Day

Sam was in the lobby today, with pastries, prom tickets and the ballot box for prom court. The Get Your Prom Tickets Here! sign now had an additional Last Chance! message at the bottom, in case people didn't already know.

3rd Floor Common Room: Saturday afternoon [3-29-08]

Lana had pulled out paper and crayons and markers and scissors and glue. She'd even found some stickers and glitter. Now she was busily coloring away at the coffee table. There were cartoons on the TV and she was humming happily, tongue sticking out as she concentrated on what she was doing.

[Open!]

3rd Floor Hallways [Thursday Evening]

The dorm hallways make for an excellent lightball court.

Spring Break means there's a lot fewer people around.

Fewer people around means less potential for innocent-bystander-related accidents.

Which, of course, is why Bridge is currently in the third floor hallway with a bunch of lightball gloves.

[ooc: completely, totally, utterly open.]

Monday All Day - First Floor Lobby

Early Monday morning Meg set up a table in the lobby with tickets for the Valentine's Day dance and a sign up sheet for flowers to be delivered on Valentine's Day for students and teachers.

There was also heart-shaped cookies and cupcakes covered in pink frosting sitting on the table. There was also coffee since it was early in the morning and coffee was necessary. Meg would be there all day, with the exception of when she had class during third period.

[Feel free to handwavy buying tickets and OOCly buying flowers. Comments to the flower post are screened as to not spoil the surprise for anybody. No OCD cause, um, I said so]

Second Floor Common Room, Monday Evening

Andrew was fixing some fine food: tomato soup and grilled cheese. An American classic. There was a fairly large pot of the soup, and he had enough bread and cheese to share if anyone else was hungry.

There was also some groovy Latin jazz playing, and he was dancing about the kitchen, head bobbing and hips swaying -- sometimes in time with the music. Life was good.

[common room open as they are]

Dorm Roof, Friday Night

Never mind that Anders only has classes on Mondays and Tuesdays, or that spring break isn't all that far away. He and Bridge have decided that school is stressful (yo), and that this definitely calls for a vacation. Of sorts.

Which is why the two of them have trekked up to the roof with two folding lounge chairs, sleeping bags, a cooler full of drinks and cold cuts, a portable heater, and s'more makings. The lounge chairs are set up in the emo garden corner with the sleeping bags rolled out on them, the heater is cranking out heat, and they're lying there. Under a tarp roof. With sunglasses on. Yes, at night.

It's totally a vacation. Or . . . a staycation, if you will.

[OOC: First thread is for Bridge, but otherwise totally open! If you talk to the guys, they won't actually acknowledge your existence as such. They'll talk to you as if they were writing you a postcard from some exotic locale.]

Second floor common room, late Saturday afternoon

After fleeing flouncing away from escaping the crazy pregnant woman he'd somehow woken up beside, Christian set out to explore this place. He was hungry but soon discovered the common room on the second floor and a fridge packed with food, to which he helped himself. Whoever brought him to this place obviously owed it to him to feed him.

He settled on the couch with a plate of food, making himself at home and turning on the TV. Oooh, ANTM marathon.

Second Floor Common Room, Evening

Yeah, he had promised Johnny tomorrow, but he was bored and the though of spending one more minute in his room was making him want to scream. So there was a chimp in the common room, watching infomercials. There was also a pile of clothes hidden under the couch.

[ooc: Open!]

2nd Floor Common Room [Sunday Afternoon]

After waking up and finding himself twenty years in the past, because of course a Fandom reunion would have something bizarre like that happen, Bridge finds himself wondering if anyone else who was supposed to be at the reunion also ended up in this time.

And what better way to find out than to head to the dorms, where everyone was supposed to stay for the duration of the visit? Bridge heads for the common room on his old floor and flops down on a couch. The last time he'd been in a common room was... okay, last week, but that was because he'd been giving the newest group of recruits a tour of the Academy headquarters. But for now he's sitting flipping through channels, looking for something interesting to watch.

Second Floor Common Room - Tuesday Night

Meg was bored. Bored, bored, bored. She was far too used to having class five days a week. She had on her pj's (a green tank top and Neptune High cheerleader shorts) and was lounging on the couch. One leg was laid out in front of her and the other was hanging off the side of the couch. Not the most lady-like of poses, but she was feeling lazy. She was flipping through the channels, hoping there was something decent on.

"Oooh! Blue Planet!"

[Tis open...yo]

Fifth Floor Common Room, Friday evening

Willow was bored. So she took her hedgehog Philbert over to the common room to watch TV.

To her delight, Stage Right was on.

Of course it wasn't on a premium channel, so a lot of the swear words were dubbed. But still!

"You'll like this," she told Philbert. "There's dancing!"

[ooc: Open!]

Fourth Floor Common Room, Friday Afternoon

Michelangelo had a pillowfort. It was a good pillowfort. It was a grand pillowfort. It was his pillowfort and he was not moving anywhere for anyone.

Really, he had decided to fight the man last night and had snuck into the common room late at night using great ninja prowess (Splinter would have been proud) to build it. He was going to take it apart again, but after hearing today's insane-lady announcement?

"I hereby declare this pillow fort to be Mutant Ninja Cabin, and dudes, I'm not movin' out for anything!"

It was not the largest illegal pillow-based cabin in the world, but turtles had staying power, and if anyone wanted to show up for hugs, or perhaps to try to move in with him, he wasn't going to complain. Bonus points if you were female, just because testing his limits was the whole idea here.

(Common room and pillowfort open- I'll be around for a couple of hours, feel free to gawk and protest, or cheer Mikey on as you see fit.)

First Floor Lobby: Evening

Mel has a bag packed and a strange looking apple looking thing in her hand. She had handwavily sent out an e-mail and told a few friends that she was going to be heading home.

She also said this would be where she would be before she left just in case they wanted to see her off.

[ooc: Mostly for those who know who they are. Otherwise open. Minor OCD coming up OCD up! SP declared due to timezones, HP and Comic Con.]

Gym, Flag Football Practice - Mid Morning

John set up the gym for flag football practice.  There were cones marking lanes for a passing/receiving workshop.  Once everyone arrived, John and Molly demonstrated proper throwing and catching techniques.  Players were then instructed to partner up to try for themselves.  If they had questions or needed tips, John was around.

[ooc: The poll won in favor of practice! Thanks to [profile] bruiser_in_pink for the idea. Please wait for OCD is up! Happy Father's Day! Edited cuz I'm a moron and forgot to list a time!]

Third floor common room, Monday evening - PARTY TIME!

Never leave decorating for a party to the mellow. There were some streamers tossed around and one of those fold-out crinkly hanging ball things dangling from a string that was duct taped to the ceiling. A stack of festive party hats tilted rather precariously on top of Jude's displaced stereo, which was playing something bouncy and probably from before he was born.

Food, however, was an excellent thing to leave to the mellow. Well, to the Jude anyway. A mismatched array of bowls held a mismatched yet delicious array of snacks and there were drinks of all kinds "liberated" from every common room that had anything in the fridge. Sadly, there were no milkshakes. Most of Jude's efforts had been put into the cake. The triple-layer (the base in chocolate, the middle slab in white, and the top in orange) cake decorated in as many clashing colours of icing as Jude could find. There was bright orange trim with purple and blue rosettes wherever he could fit them, and 'happy birthday, Rikku' in shaky cursive across the very top in hot pink. Sprinkles, marzipan, and gum drops were present in abundance. It was a cavity waiting to happen. And Jude was making sure no one touched it until all sixteen candles had been blown out.

Of course, until then, he was just going to sing "Sixteen Candles" to himself. A lot.

[[Rikku's impromptu birthday party is now open! OCD coming up, go and play!]]

The Roof, Thursday Evening

Adam was finished with his workshops for the week and was pretty happy about that. Not that he didn't enjoy them, but he was looking forward to the weekend.

Wanting some fresh air, Adam wandered on up to the roof. He hadn't been up there until now and seriously wondered why. It was pretty cool.

... There could be more narrative, but mostly this is just an excuse for interaction.

[OOC: Open, open, open! Come play! Thanks for the added bit, Mandy! XD]

Sunday Evening - Curupira Campfire

It was their last night in the cabins.  It was also raining.  But Katara refused to let that stop her from trying to roast marshmallows one more time.

So any visitors to the Curupira campfire would find a merrily crackling fire, s'mores makings, and a strangely dry patch of ground around the fire.

Also a waterbender who was concentrating a lot on keeping that area dry.

Flag Football, Camp Gym - After Workshops

This was the first ever Flag Football information session and practice.  John and Molly set up all the necessary equipment in the camp gym.  There was a handout by the door explaining what flag football was and the overall rules.

[[OOC:  Please wait for the OCD is up, come on in!]]
