Dorm Pool, Tuesday Evening - PARTY

The day had flown by, and before she knew it, Hinata and Amber, who’d cut out of rehearsal early (small sacrifices), were down in the pool area and setting up the decorations for Turtle’s (hopefully) surprise birthday party. Streamers and balloons in gold, green, and purple matched the tablecloths, disposable plates and utensils. Colour co-ordination was a go.

It took them awhile to get things all set up, but eventually it was accomplished, and a sign at the door to the pool proclaimed ‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY TURTLE!!!’ in, of course, green and gold glitter.

Jeff was here, and wearing Turtle's favorite (read: least offensively hawaiian-print) swim trunks in his collection.

It was possible he'd only remembered about her birthday thanks to the email, but he was more than happy for the opportunity not to have to freeze up in fear as that sort of knowledge dawned on him.

Ned had basic blue trunks on with a towel over his shoulders and a bag at his side. Any nerves he might have been feeling over a huge party went away because it was for Turtle.

Romeo was there, dressed in swim trunks and a t-shirt, towel in hand. He didn't often think like a businessman, but going to his competition's party struck him as essential networking even if he wasn't entirely in a party mood.

As it was Turtle's birthday party, Leto wanted to attend, but he was certianly not dressed in a bathing suit, as he would certainly not be swimming.

Whatever. He'd met her, and there was a party. He didn't have email (didn't understand email or even heard of it), but he had Leto.

He also didn't have a bathing suit, but there was nothing in his walk that betrayed any awkwardness at that fact. Mostly, he was hoping for something decent to eat.

Dinah liked Turtle, even if they only had one class together. But it felt like she knew her, since the other girl did Radio every Sunday.

So she arrived with bathing suit and towel, and a small gift. Yay parties!

Not being in the best of moods after last night wasn't going to stop Hannibal from coming to Turtle's birthday. She'd given him good advice, after all. So, clad in trunks with a towel in one hand and present in the other, he was there.

No, Angela really didn't know Turtle, but really, that had never stopped her from going to a party before, and it wouldn't now.

She was there, swimsuit on and a little sarong wrap around her waist. Yay, pool party!

A pool party was an excellent reason to get out and visit with friends in Adora's mind. She arrived wearing her adorable pink two piece from the cruise and towel, looking around in wonder at the indoor pool that seemed so small for some reason.

Considering how Turtle would never knowingly show up for for a birthday party, much less her own, in a bikini, it was pretty safe to say that she hadn't figured out that Hinata's little 'swimming lesson' was actually a big fat ruse.

Her eyes widened and she blushed a little, but she couldn't help a slight, "Well played, Hyuuga. Well played."

And then there was the fact that she had a surprise birthday party, so then there was much squeeing.
