Wayne wasn't really sure if the end of the semester would mean that more people would be likeleh to show up for breakfast that morning because they didn't have classes to get to, or that fewer people would show up because they didn't have classes to get to and would be sleeping in instead, but, either way, it didn't matter, because Wayne was going to get up bright and early as usual, check his hockey fights, and then head to the common room to whip up breakfast, as per usual.
He might be just a touch cranky about it, though, since he had to dig through a fridge full of celery to get to the usual breakfast ingredients he needed fer his pancakes and whatnot, but that also just meant he'd make a little extra time to chop some of that up, add a little peanut butter and plop a few raisins in it to make some Ants on a Log. And half expected them to turn into actual ants on log once they were finished.
But they didn't. They just stayed pieces of celery with peanut butter and raisins on them, and that was a good thing. Wayne really didn't want to deal with ants getting all up in his breakfast, but there might have been a small part of him that was a little disappointed in a weird sort of way.
If anything, it would have given him something to complain about.
Not that he was one to complain, of course.
