Maria had her notebook with her to jot down lyric ideas while she was manning the ticket table.

There were fresh flowers and she'd also purchased a few boxes of SweetTart candy hearts to make the table more festive. After all, it was a Valentine's Dance!

Maria only had one class on Wednesdays, so before and after class she was sitting under the very glittery Homecoming banner selling tickets. Tickets that were also a bit glittery because glitter migrated everywhere. When you came to by your ticket or tickets. she would also remind you to vote for the Homecoming Court.

"Now this is just ridiculous," Frank said, feeling the need to set a scene through expository dialogue. "This place has a bar that won't serve people under a certain age, no elevator in the dorms for liquor delivery, and now I find out they don't even have spare cocktail shakers in public areas for those of us whose shakers are in the shop getting a tune up. And I thought this was a free country."

"Now I'm just going to sit down, watch some TV that I don't even know what it is, and drink unshaken drinks, well I guess not everything is terrible." Frank poured himself an unshook drink and drank. "Not terrible at all."

[OOC: Open for anyone who is around and may also have strong opinions on the lack of respect shown to young drinkers. Or not.]
