The lack of memories and knowledge of who he was had bothered Nathan at first. He didn't even have identification that he could read to figure out who he was so he was completely and entirely clueless. The scars on his body told him nothing but that he apparently was accident prone.

Nathan had realized fairly quickly that he couldn't read anything to help him figure out why he was a complete blank slate of memories so he'd just gone out exploring and nearly fallen right into the ball pit on accident. Neither this Nathan or the Nathan with memories had ever seen something like this and after looking around to make sure no one was near, he'd dove in and come up, laughing.

It felt like swimming but not. Even the slight feeling of nausea and the buzzing in his head could be ignored when he was playing around in a pit of balls. Nathan kept wading through, diving under and then resting on his back like he was floating in some water.

He grinned which was a weird sight on typical Nathan's face but this Nathan didn't care. He could show off his eyes and his scarred skin and not worry about judgment because he didn't know he had to be judged.

He was just going to play in the ball pit. Maybe for another hour (or longer). Another hour in the ball pit, anyone?
