Considering they were going to be moving back to the dorms when they returned from New York, Isabel decided one last marshmallow roast was called for. She sat next to the small fire, carefully roasting a marshmallow to the perfect degree of gooey.

Jim was practicing shooting free throws. The fire was his basket. Marshmallows were his basketballs. He was well aware that he was basically just chucking sugar into the fire to melt, surely making a horrible mess of some sort inside all of that wood. He was curious what it would look like when all was said and done, though, so he kept shooting.

[OOC: Open like a campfire. Which it is.]

Annette was kind of grumpy so she was sitting in front of the fire making smores. And she just kept making them, one after the other until she had three pretty tall stacks going. After her visit at the book store, she had handwavily bought the stuff to fix them. Her's seemed to be just a little messy. But they were good that way. She's already had two. No three. There might have been chocolate smeared on her chin. And fingers. Probably her shirt too where she tried to wipe her fingers clean.

Friends were getting hurt, there was some psycho out there doing it, and all of it was just discomforting. She needed a big shotgun. Or at least a taser in each hand.

So she was cooking and eating and doing a pretty good job of it.

(it's open, yes, to anyone.)

John knocked on the door of Platypus Cabin. He was there to pick up Annette for pie.

[[ooc: Obviously looking for Annette, but for any Platypus-ian to open the door!]]

Isabel's not certain why she's not back inside in bed on such a cool morning. She tried, but sleep didn't seem to be much of an option. So instead of being restless inside the cabin and possibly waking people up, Isabel made a hot chocolate and wandered outside to sit next to the fire pit and enjoy the silence.

[Do I have to say open?]

Isabel had started a fire and was currently roasting a marshmallow to a perfect degree of doneness. Chocolate and graham crackers sat nearby for s'mores. And there were plenty for sharing.

It's just before classes, and Roxas is sitting outside the cabin, shoes and jacket lying beside him as he eats a bowl of breakfast cereal and tries to soak up what little sun there is this early in the morning.

He's finding that it's actually kinda nice here - nowhere near as busy as Twilight High's Summer classes would be, but he's also finding that he doesn't much mind that it's not crammed to the brim with stuff to do.

Which is why, in a rare moment of sunshine from behind the clouds, he smiles.

Coming back from Caritas, Annette's cell rang before she could make it to the cabin. Sighing at seeing who it was, she wandered over to the campfire and sat down in a lounge chair. Slipping off her sandals, she drew her knees to her chest and pressed her bare heels against the edge of the seat.

Hi mom. )
Sighing, she closed her cell and dropped it to the ground and just stared at the fire. "Man, what a day."

(it's late Monday night, but open if you like.)

After the movie that wasn't actually watched due to all of the talking going on (although Jim did notice that one actress looked kind of like someone he knew), Jim and Pam walked back to Platypus.

"So, what did you think of the movie?" he asked, feeling surprisingly not nervous.

[OOC: Locked to Jim and Pam, please.]

Being lost at your new school: sucks.

Eventually finding your way to the campsite again: doesn't suck quite as much.

Finally finding your bed (B3, comfier than sleeping in the woods all night): priceless.

Although really, someone should probably wake the boy up. It's well past breakfast time and he's actually yet to meet anybody.

Damn antisocial emo blonde boy.

[OOC: Because I fail at staying awake to actually post him coming back to camp last night, the return to his cabin is all handwaved. Blah. Stupid GMT hours :D

Anyway! As it says, feel free to poke the boy and wake him up.]
