After the yearbook meeting lets out, Rory wanders out into the common room, Anna Karenina in hand.

She flops down on the couch, opening her book and absently channel-surfing. She stares sullenly at the wall, though, ignoring both her open book and the television.

Sawyer's head is pounding, it feels as if he's been hit with a semi-truck straight on; he rolls over in bed restlessly and pulls the sheets over his head. After his girly-freak roommate had disappeared, the room had been kept all to himself and smelled like cigarettes.

Sitting up in bed, he reluctantly gets dressed and makes his way to the common room; plopping down on the couch, he flips on the T.V. Sawyer has the worst hang over possible, it's all Beka's Fault.

The door is open, but Jack doesn't seem aware of it. He's crouched on the ground, staring fixedly at the left leg of his bed.

"I know now. I understand. They've all been trying to make me forget. To keep me away from my destiny. I AM THE CHOSEN ONE. They'd rather kill me than let me achieve my goals."

He stops and stands up suddenly. "I know you're trying to kill me!" he shouts at the top of his lungs.
