Weather Update

As day draws near, the wind become less intense. It is still blowing hard enough to make being outside difficult, but this morning it is not dangerous.

The snow is still falling heavily and the drifts make walking difficult at times. So far, the storm has dropped about a foot of snow on the island and doesn't look to be stopping anytime soon. The clouds are low and a uniform gray across the sky all day long.

Walter, having agreed to help both Agatha Clay of Sparky Repairs, and Edmund Blackadder of All and Sundries, had double flier duty in the dorms.

Former Study Hall [After sunset]

With the power out in town, Barbossa needed to move the radio equipment to the school so that Lilly could do her broadcast tonight.

So he took many tree limbs that he just had, well, you know, lying around, strapped them together and made a rough approximation of a sled. He piled on as much of the sensitive radio equipment as he could without breaking anything, covered it with a tarp, and headed out of the Echolls' residence and towards the school, cursing all the way.

Pirates from the Caribbean and snow don't mix.

He unloaded the sleigh in the old study hall, took a generous swig of medicinal-type rum, and made another trip back and forth in the snow for the bare minimum of equipment and surveillance tapes music that Lilly would need for her broadcast tonight.

He then parked himself in the room, cranked up some actual music and waited until it was time for Lilly to arrive. No way he was leaving this kind of equipment unsupervised without a good lock on the door.

2nd Floor Common Room [Friday Afternoon/Night]

After the emergency power kicks in, Bridge wanders in to the 2nd floor common room, carrying a white bedsheet and a stack of DVDs, RIC trundling along behind him.

After hanging the sheet from one of the walls, he calls Rory and asks her to bring her laptop. He could have just used his, but hey, this way they can watch movies *and* eat waffles.

After some consideration, he goes back to his room and drags out all the extra blankets and plops them on a couch.

Gym, early morning before first period

On his way to the gym, Cameron left Angel a voicemail. He picked up a paid of gloves and headed straight for the punching bag. It shouldn't be hard to figure out who he was beating up.

POWER OUTAGE!

The storm is getting worse again. The winds are increasing and the snow coming down is very heavy and wet.

Shortly before sunset the power goes out all over the island. A few minutes later, the lights in the school and the dorms come back on. They aren't as bright and they flicker a bit at first, but they remain on.

4th Floor Common Room, Night

After helping out at the storm shelter, Kiki drags her blankets from her room out to the common room. It is so time for a girls' slumber party.
