Well, Katara had told him not to stay inside all day. So what if it wasn't until night that Chad emerged finally from his room. Still unable to sleep, still unable to completely pinpoint what his plan might be (but at least he knew which one he was going for, for the most part), he went up to the roof to get some fresh air and maybe gather his thoughts a little. He was just hoping he could manage to kill that last little bit of him that was wondering if it was worth the effort. He was thinking that maybe...if things didn't work out, he should go back to Japan. Hard to imagine that things were easier there, when he was fighting dead things in the Soul Society than going to school at freakin' Fandom...

After handwavily posting flyers around the dorms that said,
Party!
2nd Floor Common Room
Happy Birthday, Turtle!

Free Cake

Tannim headed back to the 2nd floor common room. He uncovered the sheet cake he'd ordered from J, GOB. It was decorated to look like a fifteen-dollar bill. It said, "In Turtle We Trust," and the center picture was a rough drawing of a girl's head with a long brown braid. He set up bowls of chips and other snacks around the room, and checked the fridge to make sure the sodas and Gatorade he'd bought were still there.

He set up his portable stereo and put in a CD. He wasn't sure what kind of music Turtle liked, so he'd brought an eclectic mix of his own favorites. Carbon Leaf, Nickel Creek and Gaelic Storm thrown in with Rush, They Might Be Giants, and a couple of mash-ups he'd downloaded. If those weren't to everyone's tastes, it was easy enough to change CDs.

He sat down on the couch, opened a Gatorade and hoped people would show up.

This particular Sunday, the roof was not a roof of emo. At least not so far. It was, if you had to assign it an emotion, a roof of tired smugness.

This would be because Jack was sitting on the edge, dangling his legs over, eating pizza and watching the sun set, feeling both tired and smug. It had been a very long week, but it had had an extremely satisfactory conclusion.

As long as no one killed him for messing with their stuff (and he was seriously considering denying all knowledge and memory of those incidents from here on out) he was going to call it a success.

[It's a roof -- unless a mad team of dimension-hopping builders suddenly appear in a blinding flash of light and erect a gazebo or something, it's going to keep being open! So, yes, of course, open, and Jack will happily share his pizza. I go AFK for a bit, but I'll be back.]

Setsuna had gotten to the gym early, nervously working through some sword form while waiting for Ami. She told herself she shouldn't be so nervous; it wasn't like she'd never trained anyone before, but she couldn't help it. The practise sword in her hands helped, though; it wouldn't be long until the time she'd given herself for personal training would pass and her newest pupil would be there.

Briefly, she entertained the idea of calling them minions, as Deadpool did with them. And then one day she'd rise up her minion army to ultimately defeat him once and for all.

But, really, what fun was that? If there was going to be a defeating of Deadpool, she'd want it done by her own hands.

[[ Gym is open! Setsuna's there to meet girlcrush Ami, but you're welcome to talk to her before their training session, too. Posted early because work is lame ]]

Anyone coming into the lobby might notice that part of the lobby has been turned into a puppet stage show with appropriate seating.

They might also notice a sign that says:

Multiple Madrox Productions is proud to present:

A Very Special Episode of Wendy the Werewolf Stalker

"Once Again With Subtext"

Once people have taken their seats (if they are so inclined) the lights dim and curtain on the puppet stage comes up.

This... cannot end well. )

[ooc: Why yes. I am insane. So insane I'm doing OCD for this. Wait please. OCD is up. Yes, I'm strange. Shh. Don't tell anyone.]

Walter was sitting on the edge of the roof idly juggling chunks of metal he had from one of his trips to the junkyard. Add in occasional sips from his thermos, cigarette lighting and replacement, and the juggling had the occasional higher difficulty rating.

It was something to do with his hands that wouldn't have Nadia asking him who he'd been beating up this time.

[ooc: Roof, etc.]

Target, meet boomerang! Repeatedly! "BOO-yah!"

Shred the target, off the back wall, and catch it! "WOOO!" Again! "WOOOOO!"

Behind the back, off the side wall, through the target, off the back wall, off the ceiling, and ... "Ow. Damn."

Sokka went looking for some bandages for the gash on his arm.

There was pizza.

Lots and lots of different kinds of pizza.

Demyx had gone a little crazy on the ordering, thus he had the different types of pizzas all laid out around the common room for other to partake of. Mostly, he'd just wanted to try a little bit of everything, but the kid on the phone had said they couldn't do a large pizza with 17 toppings. But they could do 17 pizzas with up to three toppings each.

After a little math, Demyx had decided he was getting the better end of the deal. And there was pizza for everyone!

((open, as common rooms are! feel free to mod pizza flavors - NOTHING is too weird))
