Despite not having class until that afternoon, Jenny was up early for once, drinking strong tea, eating cereal straight from the box, and glaring at a blank page in her notebook. Finally, lacking inspiration, she called the first number that came up on her iPhone and asked whoever answered, "What's a good slogan for running for student council?"

Rose Tattoo hung up on her.

Jenny swore and started brainstorming.

Bad things happen when Jenny Sparks doesn't run things. No, that sounded like a threat.
Vote for Jenny Sparks and she might quit smoking! Like that would happen.
Jenny Sparks, the spirit of yesterday...today. Ack, no. Just...no.
Vote for Jenny: The Voice of Experience

Jenny eyed that last one thoughtfully. It didn't suck, she decided, or at least it didn't suck more than any other campaign slogan she'd ever seen. She circled it instead of scribbling it out like the others. Now she needed posterboard and markers. And candy. She couldn't be having a proper student government campaign without a few sugary bribes for the prospective voters. She started making a shopping list.

It wasn't easy getting those posters up where people would be able to see them, but Robin managed it.

Anemone had everything she needed.  Oodles of supplies, lots of cookbooks she had grabbed during her library shift, and pre-made postie-notes to label what the pies were so that no one would get an unhappy surprise.

[ooc: open as common rooms are, with totally modable pies for consumption!]

Jamie is half watching tv and half reading Entertainment Weekly and wondering just how much George Lucas can frak up his franchise even more with a TV Series.

Meanwhile the Food channel is doing a show on Roadhouse food and the craving for barbecue is becoming quite strong.
