The Stables, Thursday Morning (10/25)

Escaping from her room -- and her dream -- this morning had sent Beauty on a beeline for the familiarity of the stables. She'd seen to Greatheart and sent him out into the paddock, stopped to share an apple with Trenor, and then found a sunny spot next to the building where she could sit and read. She'd kicked off her boots and was enjoying the feeling of the grass under her feet, despite the coolness of the weather, and kept one eye on the sky for threats of rain.

She was reading, and definitely not brooding over something she'd heard on the radio last night. Well, mostly reading, and mostly not brooding.

The Gym - Thursday Evening

After her conversation with Dick, Meg had some pent up frustration to get rid of. Even in alternate universes people wanted to be with Veronica. Meg didn't get it and it really pissed her off. She was thinking about all that and more when she started to work the punching bag down in the gym. She was too busy thinking to notice that she was actually getting better at this whole hitting thing.

Johnny was cooking. I know, so help him right? Seriously though he was doing a pretty good job with the taco making. Hardest thing was getting the meat seasoned just right and he thought he had that down. Nothing really left to do but put it all together and chow down.  It wasn't his fault he kept setting kitchen towels on fire and had to quickly put them out. Making tacos was serious business.

Seriously.

He's only ruined four towelss anyway. Not like anyone would notice, and he would totally replace them.
