intraspective: (confidence)

Ino had a clipboard. It had plans and plans for her garden on it, because she'd figured there was no point in going out to get an idea for the lay of the land and not bringing her plans along with her.

Now, she wasn't one normally for making plans but gardens were different. If you didn't plan them then they'd wind up in a tangled mess and half the plants would try to strangle the other half, cutting off their sun and choking their roots.

There was a pen tucked neatly behind one ear as she restlessly surveyed the area that Karal had pointed out to her would be a good place for her garden, and that Principal Washburn had totally given her permission to do. 'Just don't take over the grounds' gave her a fair bit of room to fudge. For now though she'd start small.

Erm.

Smallish.

[Establishy! But also totally open as the outside generally is, yes yes!]

Chad didn't exactly particularly want to go to the common room right now. He kind of wanted to stay in his room, where he had noticed that there were things cleaning. It was very nice of those things, really, to be cleaning his room for him, but he felt bad, just sitting there with his guitar as they cleaned, and so he tried to help them out.

They ended up chasing him out of the room instead, seemingly not being in the slightest bit interested in his help. He supposed magical scrubs and brooms and brushes didn't need his help, but it felt kind of rude of them to exclude him like that. It was his room after all.

Still, he relocate to the common room with minor mutterings, Prince Oscar Pedro on his shoulder as usual, and tried to think of what he could do in there. He discovered more cleaning things...cleaning in here, too. He hoped maybe these ones, especially since, with the kitchenette, they would be a little more likely to let Chad help, but they seemed pretty against the idea, too. Frowning at them, Chad and Prince Oscar Pedro decided if that they couldn't help by cleaning...they would help by giving the supplies things to clean.

So if anyone asked why Chad and his cat were going around, making messes on the counters or upturning couch cushions onto the floor, that was the reason why.

[[ open as common rooms tend to be~ ]]

The broom sweeping the floor around Romeo's feet wasn't so bad; it was silent, and no more distracting from his book than a maid at home would have been. (The fact it seemed to be powering itself was a bit distressing, but less so than talking shoes had been.)

But when a container of Lysol started hovering near his coffee-table-propped-feet, he really needed to jump up and protest. "They do not smell bad!" he informed the air, glaring.

It had been a very strange week.
