So the island, in one of its ineffable fits of pique, had started filling itself with random alternate-universe children from the future. Probably because of all the people who just had sex last night. Since none of them -- at least not yet -- seemed to belong to her, Agnes was going to do the sensible thing and hide in her room until they left.

...No, no, she wasn't, was she? That's what she would like to do. What she was GOING to do was be helpful and dependable, because it was impossible for her not to be. She didn't even like kids all that much.

She was still arguing with herself about it while she made and set up the sign in the lobby that said "FREE BABYSITTING". And made bologna and cheese sandwiches with the crusts cut off.

Everything was lovely today, walking with Spirit back to the stables, she couldn't help smiling and blushing at thoughts of Prom and earlier in the morning.

"You're in a rare mood, Adora," Spirit said, nudging her shoulder.

"I'm happy, Spirit. Things are going so well with Edward and everyone is safe for now." It was rare that she could say that and feel she wasn't about to jinx herself with a Horde attack.

"You do realize when you say things like that--"

"Yes, Spirit," she cut in with a laugh. "But I mean it. Nothing can ruin this happy day."

Poor Adora was still so new.

[Stables are open as ever, but mild SP is love]

"There's some orange juice in the fridge," Ronan said, as he pulled two tumblers out of the cupboard. "D'you want to pour us some?"

He started assembling items for breakfast -- eggs, bread, bacon, sausage...

[Open! And there will be lots of food to share, oh yes.]

Last night had been distinctly odd, but how it ended had taken some of the edge off, at least. If Arthur didn't know better, he'd almost even be able to convince himself the day was going to be sort of all right. Or, at least, not completely insane.

Instead, he was going to take a seat on the deck with a bowl of fruit and some bread for a late breakfast. Uther Pendragon taught great lessons about paranoia.

He was just going to be pleased that at least he hadn't wound up sleeping in the preserve last night.

[[ open, especially to any blonde spawn that might want to assault him ]]

When Jonathyn had started to make faces that seemed like complaints a bit in the afternoon, John had gallantly volunteered to take him for a quiet walk outside to see if the little guy would fall asleep for a nap.

So far all he'd done was insist on sitting on John's shoulders and tugged on John's hair.

"Well, if you're not gonna nap, at least it's peaceful out here," John remarked, walking around a group of large trees and letting Jonathyn reach up to tug at wet branches with his small hands.

[Meant for a pair, but open like the lawn!]

It had happened to them at least twice already, so neither Teddy nor Chad were very surprised to find their after-prom morning interrupted by a very familiar face.

But there was at least something new this time around. Orden, after all, had yet to meet Galliano.

Chad would feel sorry for the cat if he hadn't already known the cat was a masochist and probably loved all the attention that he was getting from the half-Skrull spawn.

The little family had relocated down to the common room, looking to find some dinner.

"So what are we making?"

[[ so very, very open! Chad and Teddy and Orden will love to feed more mouths, too! ]]

Edmund had had a particularly good night, even though it hadn't started out that well. He rose early, despite not having another nightmare, and quickly dressed with the intention of an early walk.

Every time Tahiri thought King was tired enough to calm down for a little while, he got a second (or third or fourth or ninth or sixteenth) wind and was right back to being a chattery little bundle of limitless energy again. This really didn't surprise her in the slightest, because by all accounts she'd been just like that when she was close to his age. She did, however, feel a little more convinced that she really ought to send Kam and Tionne a huge gift basket for putting up with her all those years. Honestly, she'd have been upset with Ben for fleeing and leaving her with their son (that was never, never going to get less weird) if she didn't have such a good idea (which she wished she didn't) of why he'd run off.

And given that Hurley's possible future kid was here too, and Penelope was staying with them for the night, she wasn't going to keep them up all night with King's constant stream of questions and pleas to do something or other.

So a campout in the common room it was -- she'd even rigged up a makeshift tent by the couch and told King it was almost like how she'd grown up.

. . . and no, she wasn't going to teach him any more Tusken swear words.

Eventually, Tahiri thought as she sprawled out on the blankets and pillows inside the tent and listened to King provide his own sound effects while scrambling all over the furniture outside, he'd sleep, right? He had to.

[OOC: Establishy since I've been gone since afternoon and I'm about to crash, but feel free to tag in and join the sleepover. Heh.]
