After Awesome class, Layla was in the common room with a video recorder working on her "resume".

Which apparently involved eating a muffin while videotaping her feet and talking about her leggings.

"Striped leggings are clearly the way to go," she narrated with her mouth full of muffin. "Therefore? Awesome."

That probably wasn't going to make the final cut.

The common room was open and there was a box of muffins available for snacking.

Okay, so Kyle Reese hadn't figured out that you have to wash clothes yet. Alice was kind enough to tell him outright to damned well do it, and so after putting it off for a while, he made his way down to the laundry room to see what this machine was that washed clothes.

It had started off simply enough. Clothes into the machine. Powder into the machine. Press a few buttons. Easy, right?

Easy, until the machine started bucking and spitting and jumping around. Reese dived for cover. "Damned machines," he hissed from his hiding place. The washer was overpacked, unbalanced and spitting suds and was, unfortunately for the unarmed boy with machine issues, bucking and frothing between Kyle and the door.

Diana had had a very weird weekend. She didn't actually remember walking into the closet, but she must have at some point because she woke up just soon enough to be chased by cookie-wielding Girl Guides who wanted to have a sing-a-long.

It was best not to ask how this led to her curling up on the couch in the fifth floor common room with a plate of peanut butter and banana bread sandwiches and the television on mute. The woman on the screen was attempting to explain that SPAM with a little salt and pepper tasted exactly like real meat.

The miniature pink and blue goat chewing up a flower pot that Diana had given it seemed to disagree. Samuel, who was busy either gaurding the mini-goat or just trying to figure out what it was, also disagreed with the scary, drunk lady on the television. Diana was just going to sit there and eat her sandwhich.

Jennifer Walters was not an expert baker.

That would be why she had given up on actually attempting to bake cookies, and was just eating the cookie dough raw and watching her favorite movie, Beautiful in Blush.

She'd share the dough, though. She'd feel such a pig if she ate it all herself. Not that she wouldn't just burn all the calories next time she changed into the She-Hulk.
