Joan was up and about pretty early considering it was her day off of classes and work. But she had important things to do. Like hanging the signs she and Kate had made last night.

cut for images )

Once that was complete, she was heading off to buy decorations. Yay party!

SATURDAY AUGUST 15

Food! Games!
Lots of Fun!

Talk to Joan (332) or Kate (324)
if you have questions

[ooc: mostly establishy, but you're welcome to catch Joan while she's hanging signs. party is mainly for 3rd floor residents, but it's not like Joan or Kate will toss out any crashers from other floors. all the signs are glittery, but the glitterfy site made the image really small. and now the smalltext portion of the post is longer than the post itself.]

Thursdays meant Claire had no classes and no work. She got up and decided to forego her daily run in favor of heading down to the gym to do some work with the punching bag.

She did some stretches to warm up and then started practicing the various attacks that Lady Ghanima had been teaching in Fight Club. After that, she planned to go over the moves Leto had been handwavily teaching her.

Savannah had sent out e-mails to the squad and now she was sitting on one of the mats in the gym with a notebook and clipboard. There was music from the portable stereo playing and a table with snacks and drinks.

New students were going to be arriving soon, and that meant they would have to hold try-outs.

However, right now, she was interested in seeing if they wanted to do anything to celebrate the end of the summer.

This would also give her something to focus on instead of dealing with certain things. Repression was the name of the game when you didn't have better things to do.

[[OOC: Please wait for OCD is now ruling over this post.]]

Alex had a craving for sandwiches, which was weird in and of itself, so she was currently utilizing the kitchen to make one of her brother's famous Mets sandwiches.

A plate of moddable sandwiches was sitting on the table, in case anyone else happened to be hungry.

The television was on in the background, showing a marathon of Wendy the Werewolf Stalker. Alex had kind of gotten hooked on the show, since coming to Fandom.

Worf stood on the roof looking out onto the island thinking about the events of the day and everything that had led up to it.

And granted his stoicism and gruff demeanor hid a good deal of his current emotional state, let's face it: Worf was emo.

Not that he'd ever admit that to anyone.
