The Roof [Saturday, Evening]
Saturday, August 29th, 2009 11:49 pmEffy had barely been in the country two hours, and after spending the previous eight stuck on a plane and the time before that with her her mum, she wasn't really feeling like dealing with people.
So she had a choice. Stay in her room, where there was a distinct possibility she'd have to deal with her roommate's sing-songy cheer, go and be sociable with the new kids, or go smoke in her traditional spot on the edge of the roof.
Guess, just guess, which of those options she chose?
She'd probably succumb to exhaustion and jetlag at some point and go back to her room. It was gone midnight back in England, and that was kind of inevitable. In the meantime, she was pretty wired, and staying right here.
[[Open roof is still open, even if Effy isn't in the best of moods.]]
