For the most part, Didi liked being mortal. She loved food, she enjoyed sleep, and if there were things that were a little less enjoyable, the good parts of her life made up for it.

Then she woke up with a raging headache and a grinding cramp in her lower stomach. A few minutes later, she was in the girls' room, resting the back of her head against the cool tile as she tried to decode the instruction sheet from a box of tampons. It shouldn't have seemed nearly as complicated as it did, but, then, Didi had never exactly had to deal with this first-hand.

As soon as she'd sorted it all out, Didi vowed, she was going to eat her weight in Doritos. That might be enough to let her be her usual philosophical self about this.

So, in the spirit of Zakat al-fitr, Kate was in the common room, making something for others to eat.

She’d been feeling sort of triumphant for no apparent reason at all since the night before, but what she was making wasn’t M.O.T.s. No, they were just regular chocolate muffins, and the first batch was just about ready to be taken out of the oven.

Waiting, Kate leaned on the kitchen counter, reading some celebrity gossip magazine.

[ooc: Open! Emmy muffins whee!]

Arthur was up bright and early to get back at it, of course - it wasn't that Monday was the only day he ever practiced (please, he'd never be able to keep his form) but it was a good start to the day, especially after a night at Fight Club.

Let's disregard the fact that 'a night at Fight Club' generally meant 'a morning with a few bruises', shall we, and move on to the bit where Arthur was running high on aggressive drills this morning, perhaps occasionally incorporating the odd off move to deal with the sort of moves used the previous night.

He would take a break eventually, if simply to turn to Merlin and get a few good quips in. What? He was witty.

The whole incident with the hair had almost caused Cal to forget exactly what day this was. Monday. That meant more than just having to work at the library. That meant Rumor Girl, on the TV, and Cal was there.

Pretending to ignore it while cooking food. No burgers this time, but something just as good and Greek and handy for TV watching: souvlaki.

[[ I ALMOST FORGOT. THERE WAS WORK. ANYWAY, OPEN. PLEASE DON'T MIND MY CRUISE CONTROL FOR COOL IN THIS OOC NOTE ]]
