After coming back from the KKG meeting, Mat had time to stop up in his room to drop off his hat and check his hair (yes, he was that vain) before making his way down to the rec room.

He glanced around, pleased. There was more than enough space to teach Raven how to dance.

Hopefully she wouldn't mind him humming to keep the beat. No one had introduced him to the idea of CDs yet.

Kappa Kappa Gremlin, Behind the Dorms, Friday After Classes

The afternoon found the first floor rec room covered in notes pointing out the patch of grass just behind the dorms. The patch of grass in question contained... "Today," Arthur intoned, with perhaps more glee than was strictly necessary, "We will dedicate ourselves to a real sport. Archery.( Cut for two teenage boys being royal bitches at one another. )

After the week he'd had, Alex was pretty glad to be done with it with a week long vacation in the forecast. Of course, the night was made even better after an earlier trip to the mainland yielded a brownie and something a little bit more exciting than cigarettes to smoke. He thought he deserved a break.

Of course, he'd had to listen to the guy (who'd been dressed in full lumberjack apparel, complete with ear flaps, for some reason) drone on and on about how cute otters were for the longest time before throwing money at him and leaving with the purchase. The brownie hadn't been any easier to acquire since he'd gotten stopped by some street vendor on the way back who'd waved Miley Cyrus' CD in his face and promised a brownie if he'd give him a soundbyte for some website.

Two minutes, one 'I'm sure she's excellent when on her back', one brownie and one small bag later, he was finally back on the island and seriously wondering if the craziness from Fandom was starting to spread out.
