Jaime had enjoyed the carnival, but he'd been feeling slightly aloof and hadn't really talked to anyone. Then he'd crashed in his room for an hour or so, at which point he'd started feeling bad for being so antisocial.

So now he was in the common room. Nothing fancy tonight, just a really big bowl of fresh queso dip. He loaded up a chip with the stuff and took an experimental bite.

"Hmm..." He eyed the jar of pickled jalapenos on the counter. To pepper, or not to pepper. This was a tough one.
