Jack was up a bit early, and decided to take advantage of it by cooking breakfast. He found some eggs, some ham, some waffles, and some blueberries. How, Jack didn't want to be wasteful by using separate plates for everything, so he decided to be creative and stack everything:
Waffle
Syrup
Slice of fried ham
Scrambled eggs
Blueberries
Waffle
Pat of butter

Jack was proud of his waffle sandwich; it was possibly the messiest way to eat breakfast all at once.

There were pizzas stacked on one of the convenient tables, and bottles of soda nearby. Because it seemed like as good a time as any for general hanging out. And because Zack had been squeeing about a ballpit, and had dragged her up here to show it off.

"Seriously?" Elena asked. "I don't get it. So, what, you just ... dive in there and ..."

Zack had yet to explain the actual attraction of the ball pit. Give him time.

Watching TV might not be one of his favourite pasttimes, but Leto had sat down on the couch with a cup of tea and just flipped through the channels. Soon he had found a documentary on Darwin's discoveries on the Galapagos islands and the development of the concept of evolution. Although lacking in philosophical depth, the particulars of the historical events still caught his interest, and Leto followed the story with a thoughtful frown on his face.
