In the fifth floor common room, there was a girl, and this girl was currently sitting on the sofa, with a rolling pin in her hands. Of course, she had always thought of this useful culinary tool as a rofenflet, and she had not been lead to believe that it had anything to do with baking or dough.

It was, however, for flattening. That much was true. It was just that Ariel was using it to flatten her feet. Leaning back in the couch, rolling it over the soles of her feet, and it felt just marvelous! A little difficult to reach, but once you got your balance and the hang of it, it was pretty easy. All the time, Scuttle's explanation was going through her head. A Rofenflet, used by humans on their feet, because how else would they keep their feet so flat?

Ariel didn't want to lose the flatness of her feet! So, before deciding if she was going to do anything exciting today, she was tending to their rolling.

[[ I HAVE BEEN MEANING TO MAKE THIS POST SINCE I FIRST BROUGHT HER IN! Open common room is so very open! ]]

Alex made her way to the common room and plopped down on the couch, intent on finding something good to watch. Instead, she found a program on the myths of magic and wizardry.

There was a bowl of popcorn in front of her and every so often, Alex would throw some at the television and make comments. Clearly, those people had no idea what they were talking about.

[I don't even know. Open.]
