So it turns out that in a previous life Gunn's Truck was a commercial kitchen range. Or at least that's what Gunn's Truck claimed.

Which probably explains why Gunn's truck was up early this morning creating a breakfast buffet of waffles, pancakes, muffins, eggs and scrapple.

Gunn of course was barely awake from this and wasn't questioning the how's and why's of it all. He had pancakes. That was good enough.

So the real question to anyone who might be waking up in their cabins this morning is:

CAN YOU SMELL WHAT GUNN'S TRUCK IS COOKING?!

[Yeah. I'm a dork. It's [livejournal.com profile] mouthy_merc's fault. Really. Open but mostly SP today.]

Having woken up early, Jonas decided to wander the few feet out of the cabin to take a seat near the campfire. He didn't light a fire, thinking it too warm even this early in the day, and took a seat against a log.

Legs stretched out in front of him, he closed his eyes and let the warmth on his face slowly wash away the last remnants of sleep that had been clinging to him. Maybe later he'd go into town and have something to eat.

Right now, he was really enjoying the quiet of the morning. It'd been like this in the Community sometimes, quiet save for those with tasks that took them out in the morning. Jonas didn't have that. Relaxation was all he had to do.

[Open campfire if anyone's up this early!]

Wesley hadn't done a whole lot of camping back at his old school. And while he'd visited a few campfires since his arrival at Fandom, it was still pretty new to him. Which was why he could find himself seated at the main campfire on Sunday, enjoying the fire quietly while his favorite book turned into a stuffy old English man lectured him on the various types of demons known to enjoy campfires.

He did have food, more in case anyone else showed up than for himself. Except for the graham crackers. Those were totally his and he wasn't going to share. But everything else, though. He'd share.

After finally figuring out what was going on, Momoko had rushed back to the dorms to check on her room on Saturday. She was very happy to discover that this year her remote-controlled colouring bug had not come to life and coloured all over her walls again.

While in her room, she'd grabbed the swimsuit she'd somehow forgotten to pack and today tried to sneak from her cabin down to the beach for a nice relaxing day in the sun and surf.

Which didn't happen, because a certain blonde sempai had been lying in wait and Momoko was stuck in the camp gym doing katas instead of swimming. At least Dinah had let her put clothes on over the swimsuit; that would have been just too embarrassing.

"Are you suuuuuure we can't just skip and go to the beach today? It's too hot to exercise! Ooh! Or we can exercise on the beach! That's perfect!"

[for one, but the cabin gym area is open for any]
