Danger Shop, After Classes
Tuesday, July 27th, 2010 08:43 amOnce again the reserves members had been handwavily notified that the meeting would be in the Danger Shop, but did that mean the traditional snacks would be forgotten? Of course not.
Of course there were cookies -- a lot of them seemed to have cherries in them, for some reason, and others had various fruit-jelly fillings as well. There was also a small pile of tubes of Spree, courtesy of Kennedy, who was grateful not to be a hedgehog this week but also more than a little eager to get rid of some of the source of yesterday’s sugar hangover.
“So we--” because she’d been here too, watching, shut up-- “did some footwork and coordination stuff last week, right? This week we’re gonna try and work on being sneaky, a little.” Kennedy waved a hand around the Danger Shop. “So you guys get to run a maze.”
“The maze isn’t really the sneaky part, though,” Zack added, perking up as he stuffed a couple of Spree tubes into his pockets. You guys totally didn’t see that. Honest. “The maze is all about finding your way through unfamiliar terrain, or something like that. The sneaky part is that there are ghosts in the maze, and they’re hungry.”
Fear.
“Also I think they have names, but anyway.” Kennedy was not pocketing any candy, thank you. “Don’t worry, they’re sorta goofy-looking ghosts. Like bedsheet-over-your-head type, so no trauma. Anyway.” She waved a hand. “Go. Maze it up. Try not to get fake-eaten.”
And for the love of everything, don’t ask about that ‘waka-waka-waka’ sound.
[OCDon the way up! Open!]
