Rilla was more than a little concerned by the weather today (silver tinsel from the sky, which didn't seem normal, even for America), but she had added an array of toques to the Student Council's coffee cart for people determined to go outside, and had restocked with teas, coffees, hot cocoa and cider and slightly fewer pastries than when Rilla had first brought it out (shhh, butter tarts were delicious).

A newly beglittered (thanks to the tinsel) sign read: GOOD LUCK ON YOUR FINALS FROM YOUR STUDENT COUNCIL REPRESENTATIVES.

As Rilla had completed her studies, she was hard at work knitting Christmas gifts, but would be happy to chat.

The whole invasion thing had, oddly enough, made Proto rather nostalgic. It had been chaotic and tense, which reminded him of home, but it had also been... confusing. Proto understood how things worked on the streets of Bahamut, but Fandom was something else completely.

And so he was sitting on a couch with some junk food, but no TV.

He wanted to go home. At least for a little while.

When he first heard of the television channel that talked about history, Cloud had been convinced that anyone who watched it and the ones that had taken the time to make it happen were eager to waste their time. Big time. So he couldn't quite understand why he was absolutely hooked on the show where a guy talked about a planet without humans. But he was hooked, even when he didn't know half the places shown, and seriously doubted dogs could protect sheep for thousands of years alone.

He was going to keep on watching anyway; that crystal chapel was going down anytime now.
